Finally chatted w/vrbo & got owner #. Then ok communications - made an excuse he did not get my messages on vrbo. Rooms VERY bright and hard to sleep. Also a LOT of road/interstate noise. Neighbors upstairs made a lot of noise. Pillows awful. No blankets. Towels were dollar store quality and hardly enough. Kitchen BARE- no towels, just paper towels - hardly anything honestly. However, the overall experience was frustrating. The host attempted to cancel our reservation just 30 minutes before check-in, which caused a lot of stress. Communication was poor throughout, and the parking instructions for the reserved spots were unclear. The listing also didn’t mention that the apartment is directly next to a very loud freeway so expect loud noises 24/7, and it’s not truly within walking distance to much, despite what the listing implies. While the unit itself was fine, the lack of transparency and support made the stay disappointing. The furniture looked nice but wasn’t super comfortable for having a leisurely night in and the curtains could have benefited from having black out to prevent early morning sun. We couldn’t access the pool because we didn’t have a code for the pool. ##### amy w.
