We have stayed here a couple times and they were all fine. This last stay, however was not the best. The room had ceiling particles hanging down all throughout, the bed was made but looked like someone sat on it and the Complimentary small bottle of conditioner was half gone.

The beds were a little firm for me but in great codition. Breakfast was ok but waffles are a miss. Great coffee!! Very convient to the area around Columbia City and near Ft Wayne.

Good basic property for a simple overnight stay at an economical price. No frills but clean, with good hot water, bath towels and double ply TP. Better than most low priced hotels if you just want to sleep, shower and get back on the road.

Very tidy and quiet, close to everything. The mattress was like the rest of the facility- very old and worn out, but clean. The breakfast was not edible especially the coffee. Had to get staff to help me into wi-fi. But it was super cheap. So you get what you pay for.

No notice of deposit charge
The place was very close to where I was doing a run, so it was convenient. It was clean and nice. I was very surprised that I was charged an extra $60 as a deposit. This is supposed to be refunded in a couple days. I was not expecting this as it was not stated in your information on line.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused during your stay but let me tell you 60 is incidental deposit hold charged to every guest up upon their arrival and hold is released once they check out and room is found undamaged .Thanks for your business and feedback.

Given a pet room when there are signs posted everywhere saying no pets allow. Large Stains on the floor and water damage on the ceiling, parts starting to fall and possible mold.

Entire hotel smelled very musty. Our room smelled bad so we went and got febreeze and a fan to cover the smells. Room also had water damage on walls and gouges/damaged walls.

I was pleasantly surprised with my room rental for my sons wedding. As someone who doesn’t travel frequently, I was pleased with how friendly the staff were, as well as how attentive they were in regards to lodging accommodations as a whole ( earlier check in and later checkout, etc.). If I were in Columbia, City again, I would stay here. Additionally, it is very close to many eateries, gas stations, and grocery stores.

The gentleman at the front desk was not very friendly. When we entered our room, it reeked of smoke. He did assign us a new room that did not smell as much of smoke but was quite musty. The TV did not work. There were only two small pillows on each queen bed. There were dirty washcloths in the shower from the guests before us. Breakfast wasn’t much. Only hot foods were waffles and small packaged breakfast sandwiches that needed warmed in the microwave. The only positives from our stay was that it was affordable and the water pressure was good. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great trip for 2 nights.
Our second time staying here. Very clean and breakfast area spotless. Was a slight problem with our room and they moved us right away with no issues. Would stay here again!

Worst experience ever
First let me start by saying I understand mistakes happen but this was unacceptable. He charged my card no problem then says he needs a deposit so I give a different card and he tried to charge my card $211 not once but twice. The first room we was in we got locked out the battery for the door stopped working then the bathroom light went out. They moved us the next morning to a room that smelled like wet dog and we all got ate up by fleas. All night

The hotel was very outdated. It was a room with 2 queen beds. One bed had a huge hole in the mattress so my husband slept in a whole the entire night. Shower rail in bathroom came out. The plug in the bathroom wasn't working so we had to take the hair dryer off of the wall and plug it in somewhere else. The closet door wasn't on the track and couldn't get it back on. The shower water backed up every time you showered.

Stained bedding and stained bathroom towels and wash clothes. Two sitting areas on second floor had couches and chairs that were worn down and stained. Weird smell in the lobby area like cleaning solution and incense.

Inspect your room at check-in.
Not a great stay. We came in late at night due to an event. The bathroom was dirty and the beds were hard as rock. I tried to cancel our second night but they would'nt give any concession. It was bad enough that I checked out anyway and payed for a second hotel so we could sleep well.

Front Desk night person is horrible
We stayed here with our son and his teammates. We were in town for an AAU basketball tournament. Upon entering the building the man at the front desk was giving our kids (black boys) weird looks. It was a mess checking in. When we booked the rooms we didn't put the correct number of people so he said that would be an extra charge and I was like okay I'm fine with that. I said you can just charge my credit card for the extra person and the deposit and he said okay. After 5 minutes of typing he then proceeds to tell me that my room was not paid for. I am already pissed because of the looks that he continues to give my boys and now you are telling me that I didn't pay for a room that I have the receipt for in my phone. I was starting to feel like he didn't want us to say there. After all the back and forth he then charges my other card for the extra person and the deposit. All that for nothing. The rooms were okay. The walls need to be repainted, the carpet either need to be cleaned or replaced due to the smell. The beds were clean. The lady at the desk when we were checking out was nice. Its okay for 1 or two nights tops.
