The Space:
Welcome to The Verb House — a spacious 2,052 sq ft single-level retreat perfect for families, groups, or remote workers looking to unwind and recharge. This bright and inviting home features a thoughtful split floor plan with three private bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens) and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests.
Whip up meals in the wide open kitchen, then gather around the dining table for family dinners or game night. Need to get some work done? The Florida room doubles as an office space, offering peace and quiet when duty calls.
For fun and relaxation, enjoy a friendly match of ping pong, practice your putt on the mini-golf setup, or break a sweat in the garage gym with free weights. Outside, soak in the sunshine in the front or back yard, roast marshmallows over the fire pit, fire up the grill, and kick back on the outdoor seating. (Please note: the yard is not fully fenced.)
The home includes 2 full bathrooms with bathtubs, separate shower/tub combo in the master bathroom, making it easy for families or multiple guests to freshen up after a long day of fun.

Guest Access:
You will receive a unique digital access code on the day of check-in to enter the property. Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM. The home is equipped with a digital keypad lock on the front door. It is a black touch screen keypad on the front door—Touch the keypad to activate it and simply enter your code, then the check mark to unlock the door. To secure the property upon departure, press the Yale button.

The Kenwood subdivision is a very safe, family-friendly neighborhood with 15 public schools in the city. The city of Fort Walton Beach has a strong military community with more than 6 military bases, camps and airfields in the immediate area. The Short-Term Rental (STR) is very close to Eglin and Beal Pkwy with access to numerous restaurants and things to do.
Getting Around:
Getting around Fort Walton Beach is relatively easy, though public transportation options are somewhat limited. For the most convenience and flexibility, driving is the best way to explore the area. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily available and offer a reliable way to reach nearby destinations such as Downtown Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island, and the surrounding attractions. Biking is also an option for shorter trips, and many roads in the area are bike-friendly. If you're planning to explore beyond the city or travel on your own schedule, a personal vehicle or rental car is highly recommended.

We’re happy to welcome your furry companions—all breeds, shapes, and sizes are accepted, with a maximum of 4 pets per reservation. Our standard one-time pet fee is:
- $75 for up to 2 pets
- $150 for up to 4 pets
This fee covers your entire stay and includes basic pet cleaning. All pets must be house trained, non-aggressive, and up to date on vaccinations.
To help maintain the home, we kindly ask that you crate your pets when left unattended. Please note that the pet fee covers standard cleaning; any excessive cleaning—such as indoor accidents, excessive pet hair on furniture, or damage—will result in additional charges. Thank you for helping us keep the space comfortable for all guests—human and four-legged alike!

There are no cameras inside the house. These cameras are installed solely to help protect our guests and the property.
Please note: The nightly rate includes up to 5 guests. For groups larger than 5 (up to a maximum of 8 guests), there is an additional charge of $25 per guest, per night. This helps cover the extra utilities, cleaning, and general wear and tear. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep Verb in great shape for everyone!
