This beautiful, fourth-floor Gulf-front vacation rental includes balcony doors in the living room leading to a private balcony that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. Pickleball courts are also nearby, so grab your paddles and have a friendly game together. Other features of this brightly decorated, fun vacation rental include a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, cooktop stove and oven, microwave, and dishwasher, along with all the dishes, pots, and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. The primary bath and second bath have tubs. The living room has a large TV with a DVD player. The bedrooms have TVs. There are mirrored walls in the living room and primary bedroom.

Things to Know
Complimentary beach service of one umbrella and two chairs is offered from March 1 through October 31. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Great location

We really enjoyed this condo! Although the property is a tad outdated and on the smallish side (perfect for our party of 4, though), it was pretty clean, the location was perfect for us since we spend the bulk of time on the beach, and everything was in working order. The pool is nice, and the beach service is a huge perk. The communication was great especially the no-hassle check-in and out process We would definitely stay again.

Good space condo in an area right on the water, quiet and mostly clean. carpet and rugs were a bit dirty/stained but otherwise tidy. was nice to have washer and dryer in condo as well as full kitchen. Very easy to communicate with owner/management as they were quick to respond and access to condo was made easy with keypad codes. overall great experience and Would stay again !

Don’t stay in 4E at Island Echos

The Unit looks good in the pictures but that was very misleading. Our grandson’s white socks were black from walking on inside tile floors. We reported no water pressure in the primary bathroom and was told they couldn’t do anything until we left which left 5 people having to share one shower. The overall care and cleanliness was poor of the unit. We will not stay there again.

I wouldn’t recommend

My initial reaction was a 3 star review. Like another visitor, the master shower didn’t work. Vacasa offered to send a repairman but we didn’t want to deal with that while we were there so we all used the other shower. The twin bedroom had no fan and got pretty hot; in addition it stayed dark since there was no way to open the blinds. The carpet in the master bedroom was pretty gross and the whole place needs some updating. The kicker was the second to last night when ANTS invaded the master bedroom. I probably squished 30 that night. Had nightmares about it. I called Vacasa that night and they said something would be done the next day. Next day I get a call that an exterminator would come at noon. Come 2:00 still no exterminator, so hopefully he came while we were at the beach. Still, there were ants in the bedroom, living room, and dining room area. The response was very relaxed- just an ‘oh well, we’ll see if we can do something!’ And no follow up. So for three days we lived with the ants that just keeeept coming. It definitely wasn’t the relaxing vacation we had in mind, and I’ll be staying somewhere else on our next visit. I recommend you do the same.

I would stay here again! We are a family of 6 and had plenty of room for us. I cooked in the condo 3 of the 4 nights we stayed. The kitchen had everything I needed, even a crockpot! Loved the view from the balcony. Even saw dolphins several times out in the bay!

Not the best experience for vacation

I was kind of unhappy from the start because when we arrived the condo didn't appear to have been cleaned thoroughly. There was food still in the sink, objects and debris on the kitchen floor and heavy dust in certain areas. I took pictures of everything and I can send to you if needed. So my issue is, how can a place be sanitized from the prior use when a basic clean was not done. The other issue I have was that the A/C went out prior to arrival. I think it's something house keeping should of noticed if they were cleaning, or if an earlier check in would have been allowed the A/C could have been fixed the same day. Instead, we were given another condo (2E) for a couple days. We had to move all our stuff including groceries into a new condo, and then move one more time once the A/C got fixed. We were told we had to check out of 2E because someone else was checking in on Thursday. With the condo (4E) being an updated condo, you would think the thermostat would be updated too. The thermostat appeared to be the original one from the 80's. The condo we were moved to (2E) was not something i would have picked, and definitely not worth the price i paid. I spent 3 weeks searching AirBnB and VRBO to find the right condo, only to have stayed in there 1 night. Also the (2E) condo that we were moved to, didn't have the washer/dryer which is something we needed when I booked the original place (4E). I expected much more. Instead, the whole process was an inconvenience, and was not given any type of refund for downgrading into another condo.

Clean and served the purpose

We came down on a real estate shopping trip. The unit was clean. Kitchen is small. We noticed the smoke detector was gone. Maintenance fixed it. Location was great. Unit was not a class a unit. However, it was clean and quiet. For the price point it served our purpose

Exactly what is showed to be!

We will definitely be staying at island eh is room 6k again! It had everything we needed and the view was amazing!! Kitchen had all the applicances and dishes you’ll need. Washer and dryer. ( bring your own soaps for washer and dish washer and bathroom) The stay was perfect! Take a pier walk! We say jelly fish and dolphins! And one of the locals caught a huge (well almost caught) fish! It got close enough we could see it was huge before it got away!

Great Beachfront Property

This is definitely a great beach front property. It is nicely decorated, the bedrooms are nice. If I would ask the owner anything it would be to update the cookware. I would love to spend the holidays here, great amenities, gym. 2 pools, poolside bar and restaurant, my husband normally doesn't comment much but he loved this place. Great for families. 5 minutes from the best shopping in Destin.

Great location but not very clean

The location was great, however........ we were not impressed with the cleanliness of this condo. There was urine on one of the toilets. One of the showers was stopped up with seaweed, hair, and sand. There was tooth paste dried to one of the sinks. The water pressure in the other shower was very low. Construction was in process which we were warned of, but the noise was horrendous. On a positive note, they provided chairs and umbrellas which was very nice. The water was beautiful! Cleanliness was definitely our issue.

Beautiful decor

We enjoyed our stay at this location, however I was pretty disappointed that we were not told ahead of time that the entire building was under construction. The workers were all very nice but during the day the noise was so loud. We probably would have planned our days differently if we would have known ahead of time. Also, I am guessing due to the construction, the water pressure was terrible in the master bedroom. Other then those things were enjoyed our stay. The gulf view was wonderful and the condo had beautiful decor.

The room was not cleaned exactly as I would have preferred. Hair on the master carpet and on the master bathroom floor . The condo was very comfortable and there was not a lot of outside noise. We will definitely stay again.

TRUTH IN ADVERTISING!

This unit was all its advertised to be! Very clean, updated..Super COMFY BEDS IN BOTH BEDROOMS! Beautiful view..nice resort overall. The pool was on the small side for such a big place..But being just steps to the powder sand filled beach, there was never a time of overcrowding at the pool! Great beachside service. (Travis) Our favorite panhandle beach destination thus far out of 4 visits!
