Prettier in person! The decor brings a clean, peaceful atmosphere to this lovely space. Puzzles and a card game for quiet evenings in. Highly functional kitchen. Perfect beach view. The included beach chairs are a bonus! Easy access. The only challenge is that the room with the twin beds needs a blackout curtain over the window to block the condo property lights that shine all night from the condo entrance walkway. Other than that, our stay couldn’t have been better.

Beautiful area. The condo was so very clean. Exactly as described and pictured. My husband fishes so he was able to fish right in front of condo.Tha is plus plus. Righth on the beach. We had problems with tv Had so many controllers took forever to figure outThen it kept losing connection lots of wait time in between. Signal was gone for day half. We didn't dwell on it the beach views more than made up for tvs. Lots of places to eat. We had a wonderful time. Thank you

Beautiful condo

One of the prettiest condos I’ve ever stayed at. The views were awesome! Spectacular sunrises and sunsets this time of year!…We could even watch the New Year’s fireworks from the Okaloosa Island pier from our balcony. It was a wonderful trip! We will definitely be back!If you want to be on the beach, this condo is for you!

Mother/Daughter Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and very tastefully decorated as well very comfortable. The main bedroom mattress was a dream to sleep on. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Balcony wasn't very usable as the oversized furniture did not leave very much moving around room, the high top chairs were difficult to get in and out of for this 5'2" girl. It was nice having full size washer/dryer as well. Shelving for the closet/pantry would be nice as that was the only place to store snacks, instead we had them littering the countertops. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return! Thanks

Nice unit but kitchen supplies lacking

The unit was very nicely updated and I loved the chaise lounge by the sliding glass doors. Great spot for a nap or reading. Bedding was comfortable. Two items that weren't the best - if you like to cook or eat in while there you will be somewhat disappointed in the kitchen items. There were literally only 6 forks so you often had to wash them by hand to have enough for the next meal and no cooking knives unless you count steak knives! Also the composite furniture on the deck was fine but the chaise lounge out there was uncomfortable without a cushion.

Great Anniversary stay!

Property was wonderful. Loved the location as it was away from the touristy areas of Destin. Unit was clean and updated. Only issues we encountered were 1) the bed in the master bedroom was so hard it made it difficult to sleep. 2) floor in laundry room was buckling b/c of significant water damage. I let the property manager know so it could be repaired. Would definitely stay here again but I’d seriously consider hauling a memory foam mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable.

Relaxing and loved the balcony views! Everything was as described except, our daughter slept in the guest room twin bed, and you could feel sand on the fitted sheet, so we washed them the next day. Bare necessities in the kitchen supplies, had to purchase a permanent coffee filter ( which we donated to the unit) since the store was completely out of basket type filters if we wanted coffee. Southern vacation rentals was prompt and answered any questions we had during our stay. Yes- I would return and highly suggest their company.

Newly remodeled and great location

We loved our stay on Okaloosa Island. The front row beach chairs and beautiful water in front of the condo were perfect. Don’t forget to pack a hair dryer!

Just wasn’t flexible

I had a sudden need for an urgent back surgery and tried to reschedule to an open week later in August but was told it was too close to my arrival day. Which in full transparency it was the day before but I would like to believe that there’s room for grace and empathy when someone has spent that amount of money on a place and wasn’t even canceling. Next time I’ll be sure to use travel insurance but I’m not even sure it would’ve covered what came up. The condo looked clean but after an hour of not having shoes on our feet were completely black. The updates were a nice touch but many were not done correctly. The master bath toilet is not set right and it moves. The shower is hard to keep water from going everywhere even with the curtain pulled. On our third day we went to wash bath towels and the washer can’t finish a cycle without bouncing all over. We only had a medium load in. Then once we transferred to the dryer after about 30 minutes we realized that there was no hot air. Management was quick to put in a work ticket and was quick to respond. The owner was deciding to buy a new one but wasn’t sure when it would arrive. Management did bring it fresh, clean towels and was going to pick up the wet ones the next day. Between my personal back issues and the dryer we just decided to head home after 4 days. It may have been an experience I could have dealt with if I was at 100% but I wasn’t and coming home seemed to be the best option.

This place was so nice, very clean. It has every basic need, only downfall is could at least leave couple rolls toilet paper per room when paying for a week stay. The place is steps from the beach literally and so enjoyed this. Amazing view Will definitely consider this condo again. Thank you for giving us a relaxing, fun vacation.

We had a very nice visit. We appreciate the ongoing communication with the property owners throughout our stay. The only thing I would pass along would be that when we checked in the floor in the kitchen and main bedroom and bathroom were pretty dirty with sand still.

When we arrived all the towels were damp and we had to re-dry them. They only left us one kitchen towel and bare bones set up. The knifes wouldn't even cut lemons. Bring your own stuff if you plan to cook. Several light bulbs were burned out in both bathrooms and one in kitchen. The closets are congested with old furnishings/boxes and only 2 hangers. The bathrooms have rotting wood and are in need of updating. The guest bathroom toilet runs off and on in the middle of the night. No instructions for the ceiling fans. All the furnishings are cheap, peeling and in need of replacing. No broom and dust pan to sweep. No cleaning supplies. Most places we rent from have basic cleaning supplies. Especially since Covid. The only thing we asked them to fix was to replace the lightbulbs, which they did the next day. Seems like the cleaning crew should have reported the lights being burned out. All the appliances are old. One of the shelves in the fridge collapsed and the frame broke. All we had on the shelf was water bottles and soda cans. We notified the rental company right away via text. They said they’d put in a work order. We heard nothing back until my credit card company notified me of a $250 charge from Southern Vacations after we checked out. . I am sure the shelf must have already had a crack in it to have collapsed with only a few drinks on it. Yet we are being charged for it. This is a great complex. Location is perfect. We've stayed here in another condo before and it was fabulous. We won't ever stay at this condo again, nor will we ever rent from Southern Vacation again.

Great location on Okaloosa Island

Loved the 2 bedrooms, the view, and the new patio furniture ! Property has been updated since the last pictures. Bring your own hair dryer. Beach setup was very easy and only one row of chairs in June. We loved watching the Okaloosa Island fireworks from the balcony and Destin fireworks from the beach. Publix was just a short drive and Tom Thumb was just down the street for supplies. Make sure you eat at Stewby’s!
