Upon arriving at this well-appointed, Gulf-front condo, you are mere steps from sinking your toes into the soft, powdery sand of the gorgeous Fort Walton beaches on Okaloosa Island. Open the custom-designed, sliding privacy drapes to let the sun flood this bright, ground floor unit. Step out the doors in the living room onto your private patio leading directly to the pool, parking area, shuffleboard court and beach. There is even a partial view of the gorgeous dunes from the Master bedroom window. We provide beach service with this unit from March to October so you can enjoy the luxury of two of your own private beach chairs and an umbrella. The open floor plan in the living area is perfect for the whole family and since the unit is on the ground floor with no stairs, it provides an easy entry. There's a comfortable, ergonomically designed recliner for kicking back and listening the sounds of the surf just beyond your patio, or catching the "big game" on the large wall-mounted flat screen television. Prepare fresh local seafood in the updated kitchen with coastal-style cabinetry, granite countertops and wrap-around serving/breakfast bar. The dining table comfortably seats six, with room for two more at the bar. Rest easy in either the king bed in the Master bedroom, or one of the full over full bunk bed in the second bedroom, both with flat screen televisions and DVD players. So the kids can watch a movie while the adults are enjoying indoor-outdoor entertaining. The two bathrooms include marble vanities and new light fixtures and cabinets. The master bath features a marble lined walk-in shower, while the second bath has a marble shower with enclosed tub. There is a comfortable flow to this spacious unit with tile floors, so everyone has room to chill out, stretch out, and enjoy your beach vacation. The in-unit washer/dryer ensures that you can travel home with clean clothes–no lengthy vacation laundry upon returning home. But we warn you–it's hard to leave this place! This 7-story condo complex comes packed with community amenities including a gorgeous beachfront, seasonally heated pool with spacious deck, lighted tennis courts, grill area, shuffleboard and meeting room (rentable for additional fee). And of course—the emerald waters and shimmering sands of the Gulf of Mexico are your backyard! Most of the other reviews are very true regarding location and access to beach. it was very nice to have beach chairs. location is secure with shuffleboard, tennis and pickel ball. like most vrbo's management is stingy with toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, 1 dish cloth and 1 kitchen towel provided. I brought much of my own kitchen comforts such as griddle, crockpot, cookie sheet and 9x12 pan and extra kitchen towels. i am glad i did since the kitchen was not well appointed with those things and very unorganized. there were things that needed repaired on day 1 that were taken care of right away and we are grateful for that. If you are looking for ocean view, you will not have it, but unloading and reloading the car was a breeze. For light sleepers, you will hear the upstairs people. Make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash as this unit only supplies small samples. With some added personal touches, this unit would be awesome. ##### maureen w. Check-in and out was super easy and we were able to park right outside the door most times. Great location, clean and plenty of space. Direct pool and beach access. While we couldnt see the beach from this unit, it was only a few short steps to be there. The kitchen was nicely stocked with every dish and utensil one could need. We booked this condo just days before arriving, after Hurricane Ian changed our plans. This unit did not disappoint!! It is located in a great area that seemed to be less crowded than other areas. This unit had everything we needed to enjoy our week on the white sandy beaches including a well stocked kitchen. We loved that it is a gated condo. Parking was a breeze! The beach access has a great set up for allowing you to spray all of the sand off before returning to your unit. Smoking and throwing their cigarette butts down on our patio. And an issue with workers running a generator or compressor under the front bedroom window all night. That was very loud. Floors were dirty amd left our feet black. I scrubbed multiple times while there. Better rugs maybe by the doors may help with this, really not sure. Our family, 16, 9, & 7 really enjoyed playing the shuffleboard game that was right outside our door as well. A few minor issues in the room, but nothing that affected our overall stay. ##### Jen R.
