The space up to the bedroom is a hidden bookcase and you do have to turn to the side to get though the opening about 14 inches, you may have to take clothes out of your suitcase to bring up, as some suitcases will be to large. ,Due to being on an island with a tropical climate, there are tropical insects, amphibians, fish, etc. The space is treated regularly for pests however, you may come across a palmetto bug, wood roach, American roach, Ceratopogonidae (no-seams), mosquitos, termites, etc. During storms, we tend to find that insects can and will invade spaces to get away from the rain. While we do take precautions to keep these critters out, it is sometimes out of our control as this is the environment in which we live. The property is located very close to the water — snakes such as water moccasins are seen on occasion, especially near rocks and such, please make sure you are aware of your surroundings. Swimming in the bay there are a variety of aquatic species that can cause harm, swim at your own risk. The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Please note that we do not provide additional cleaning or housekeeping services during your stay. Detailed checkout instructions can be found in the StellarDweller reservation portal, which was sent to you on your booking date. For your comfort and peace of mind, our property is equipped with a Minut Smart Home Sensor. This small device monitors noise levels, temperature, humidity, and motion near the entry to help ensure a safe, comfortable stay for everyone. LOCALS: Locals must communicate with the host before booking. CHECK-IN: Check-in time is 4pm or after (unless early check-in is paid and confirmed). SMOKING FEE: Guest agrees to pay a $500 smoke Damage Cleaning Fee if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered by host/manager or cleaning crew after guest checks out. This fee will cover costs to remove odors from the home, and lost revenue during cleaning. PETS: Pets are NOT allowed at this property. EVENTS/ VENDORS: No Events. Any vendors entering the Property are prohibited. REPORTING DAMAGE: The guest agrees to keep the Property in the same condition throughout their stay. All our communication with the host was clear and they always responded in a timely manner when we had questions. They even brought a toaster and spatula when they discovered there was none in the kitchen. Had to shove my suitcase to fit through it. Anyone who is overweight would not have an easy time fitting. Neighbors back yard and deck were messy and cluttered.
