Beach Access: To reach the beautiful white sands of Okaloosa Island's beach, you can take a short 3-minute stroll across the street and use the beach access boardwalk. Remember to bring your beach essentials such as towels, sunscreen, and beach chairs for a relaxing day by the water. House Rules: Familiarize yourself with the house rules provided by the host. These may include guidelines regarding noise levels, smoking, pets, and any specific rules or restrictions applicable to the condo complex. Respecting these rules will ensure a pleasant stay for you and your fellow guests. The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Please note that we do not provide additional cleaning or housekeeping services during your stay. Detailed checkout instructions can be found in the StellarDweller reservation portal, which was sent to you on your booking date. For your comfort and peace of mind, our property is equipped with a Minut Smart Home Sensor. This small device monitors noise levels, temperature, humidity, and motion near the entry to help ensure a safe, comfortable stay for everyone LINENS/SUPPLIES: The linens and supplies provided will not be replenished during your stay as housekeeping is not provided, you have the option to use the the washer/dryer provided (if the property includes in unit) or you can use the community laundry to clean linens which is normally coined check the house manual for codes. Consumables have already been provided for the duration of your stay. To maintain the quality and cleanliness of our linens and Towels, we kindly ask guests to avoid using them for any items that may cause stains or discoloration, such as makeup, hair dye, tanning products, or coloring sticks. Many of these substances cannot be removed easily, and in some cases, the stains are permanent. When this happens, the linens must be disposed of and replaced, which comes at an additional cost. If our cleaning team provides a photo report of stained or damaged linens beyond normal use, a replacement or cleaning fee will be charged to the guest. Thank you for helping us keep our linens fresh, clean, and comfortable for all guests. CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 10am. For the cleaner to have time to prepare for the next guest properly, we ask that guests have checked out by this time. Guests are to leave keys as required in the House Manual. MAXIMUM OCCUPANTS: Only the specific number of guests noted in the booking are allowed on premises unless approved in writing by the host/manager. If Guest exceeds the occupancy noted in the reservation, all guests and/or visitors to the Property will be immediately evicted without refund for unused days remaining. Guest also agrees to pay a charge of $20 per person/ per day for every visitor not identified by Guest in the reservation. AGE: You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of booking to reserve this Property. Guest confirms that he/she is older than 18. SHOES: Guests shall remove shoes when inside the home. WILD ANIMALS/PESTS: Some properties are near large bodies of water, swamp, or areas where wild animals roam. While visiting Florida please be mindful we do have tropical bugs — mosquitoes, palmetto bugs, wood roaches, no seeums, etc. While we do actively treat for pests you may encounter a few critters during your stay. If the doors are left open, you will most likely allow these creatures in the home. As much as we’d love a critter free home sometimes it’s just not possible. Let us know if you’ve encountered anything that may alarm you! SMOKING FEE: Guest agrees to pay a $500 smoke Damage Cleaning Fee if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered by host/manager or cleaning crew after guest checks out. This fee will cover costs to remove odors from the home, and lost revenue during cleaning. PETS: There are to be no pets on the Property - except with the prior written authorization of the host. A $100 pet fee will be applied once your pet(s) are approved for the reservation. We offer a friendly, clean space to all our guests, please help us maintain this by picking up all waste and discarding it in the outside trash bins. Please do no allow pets on the furniture. Guests who bring a pet or pets without approval will be charged a $300 Pet Fee and immediately evicted from the Property without refund for the remaining days on reservation. EVENTS/ VENDORS: No Events. Any vendors entering the Property are prohibited. REPORTING DAMAGE: The guest agrees to keep the Property in the same condition throughout their stay. Any damage to furnishings, fixtures, furniture, or other notable conditions found upon arrival will be reported to the Host/Manager within one (1) hour of Occupancy. If guest fails to address these issues within (1) hour they forfeit the right to request a refund, as the guest did not allow the host an opportunity to correct issues. Host will attempt to correct issue, and if it's not correct the guest will have an option to move to another property suggested by host and if the host is unable to provide alternative housing, airbnb will assist. There may be chemicals in reach, outlets are not covered, dressers and stands are not mounted to the wall. It's the parents responsibility to child-proof anything that may cause harm to your child. DAMAGE: Guest agrees to pay any damage made by guests or their visitors to the Property and Property furnishings, fixtures, or furniture. But the building and location were both pretty shady. The walls are paper thin—we could hear every word of the upstairs neighbor’s conversation. But more importantly, this complex is not in a very nice area. During the day it was fine, but at night we saw several homeless and/or sketchy people walking around and the condo itself is behind a notoriously dangerous strip club. It’s certainly not the fault of the owners, who were great and have done everything they can to make it a nice place to stay. But we did not feel safe at night here. ##### Devon L. It’s within walking distance to a few restaurants and the beach. Short drive to the nearest Publix grocery as well. Large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and aloe were in the bathroom which was a nice touch. As well as a large bottle of dish soap in the kitchen. There are a few reasons why I cannot rate my stay as 5 star however. I wish I knew beforehand that while the amenities list a washer & dryer it is actually a laundry room shared by the whole complex. It is also coin operated $2.00 per wash and $2.00 per dry. There is not a change machine either so we had to venture out in search of somewhere get a bunch of quarters. This was very inconvenient. It would have been nice if there was a laundry basket for our use also. Communication with the host was poor. I had messaged through VRBO as well as emailed a week before our trip with a question and received no response. There wasn't a binder or anything with pertinent condo information like I’ve had at every single other home I’ve rented. There is a code to the aforementioned laundry room which we did not have and I had to call the host. Overall, it was sufficient for the price point but I think there are some things that could be improved upon. ##### Chelsea M. We had a great time! We brought our dog with us and that was nice but it we wish we would have known we couldn’t take him on the beach before we went. That was our fault for not checking first!
