My wife is not easy to please when it comes to staying anywhere but her own home, and she was very complimentary of it. This condo is on the back of a quiet alley with the beach access boardwalk directly across from it! The relatively small kidney bean shaped pool, was still perfect for mixing it up when we retired from the beach back to the condo. The pictures do not do the size of the room justice. It is definitely more spacious than we thought. The beds were comfortable, we cooked a few nights and they had everything we needed. It was the perfect distance from the beach even if you forgot stuff in the room it was easy to run up and grab your things. There is a convenient store right next door that we would walk to for late night snacks. They didn't offer to find another place for me to stay. I didn't even get an apology. We went out for the day and came back to find a can of roach spray sitting on the table. Jun 29, 2025 #### Vacasa customer service and housekeeping is subpar The location of this condo is great (which is the only reason I have it 3 stars), but Vacasa customer service and the cleaning crew is lacking. The smoke detector was chirping as soon as we arrived, so I reached out to customer service immediately (at 4:25pm). A few minutes later we realized there was not any toilet paper, so I let customer service know that also. A while later we hadn’t heard from anyone about coming out to fix these issues, so I reached out again asking if there’s a timeframe we can expect to hear back from them. and I was told there isn’t a response time but they would let know as soon as they heard anything. On the way home from dinner (at 9:15pm) we still hadn’t heard anything, so we had to stop and buy toilet paper. When we arrived back at the condo we had to remove the smoke detector from the wall and take out the batteries so we could sleep. The next morning we still hadn’t heard heard anything, so I reached out again to a different number (at 8:45am) and was told they’d send someone out to fix both issues. A little while later someone showed up and fixed the smoke detector, but no one ever brought toilet paper or followed up to make sure these issues were taken care of. There was also hair in the shower, the floor was filthy in the kitchen when I wiped up water drips, and the ice tray in the freezer was dirty. We also received a lot of conflicting information from what was posted on the Vacasa app versus what was texted to us about our stay. There were also a lot of things rigged up in the condo, like the wire attaching the middle of the shower curtain rod to the ceiling and preventing you from opening the shower curtain more then half way. We stayed in 205 Tropical Isle for 45 days. 320 of those days we had no drawers to use in the bedroom dresser because the drawers fell out of the dresser and one landed on my wife's foot. I reported the dressers day 1 and we got new dressers on day 33 of our 45 day stay. Tried to cook a pizza in the oven and it took 20 minutes for the oven to preheat to 400 deg. It is electric oven but kept turning on and off. The kitchen sink faucet leaks. The freezer door on the refrigerator is glued together. The couch is too low to the ground so it is uncomfortable to sit on. All the appliances are old..microwave is 1998\. The dishwasher we didn't even dare to try it is so old. The vegetable bins in the refrigerator are both broken. Needless to say, the place needs a complete overhaul. The bathroom tub/shower works but looks filthy all the time. I lost power and reported it to Vacasa and no one ever showed up to fix it. I had to find someone who might know something to give me help. Finally a nice gentleman from another apartment maintenace company showed me where the main breaker was outside the building and told mehow to reset it. Sep 28, 2022 #### Perfect girls getaway Really cute little place! Great customer service, everything was in place and ready to go. The staff checked on us upon arriving to made sure we checked in smoothly, and had everything we needed. My favorite part - the way the beds were positioned in the bedroom. Two queen size beds were facing each other instead of being put along each other. That was perfect for two friends traveling together, in our case - two girls getting away for a little, much needed, vacation. Thank you! NK ##### Natalia K. We enjoyed the property. The only thing that would have assisted us in keep the property cleaner was a broom. There was a dust pan, mop and bucket but no broom.
