we paid extra for balcony which was a waste due to it overlooking main hwy with loud traffic noise all day and night. there was a light outside glowing into our room all night. The room wasn't cleaned after the first day and no fresh towels. location of the hotel is bad and won't stay again. Staff was friendly.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. Incredible stay with a nice view of the street and a glimpse of the beach. The staff were so helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, simple options: Cereal, Egg, Sausage, Juice, Toast Bagels, Waffles. The only issue was that the toilet was very hard to flush ! But other than that, perfect stay. 5 stars from me.

It was nice especially with kids there was an acade and bumper car next door. Joe's crab shack is a nice walk. Target, mcdonald's, chick filet and convienent store are closed by.

No pool towels available for entire stay. Indoor pool not open. We ask for room towels twice and both times were told there were none available, check back later. Girl at the front desk seem to be bothered to wait on us. There was pee on the toilet when we entered our room, Racks on refrig in room were broke. The lady doing breakfast was nice and seemed to be working hard but alone. Ran out of coffee, gravy, was done eating by the time more was brought out. She needed help. Would not stay again.

Overall an okay stay. We read a lot of reviews so we weren't very surprised, but did want to point out a few things. Front desk staff is generally awful. However there was one man and lady who checked us in on Thursday that were very kind. The rest were rude and unhelpful. There is some sort of issue with keys where you have to get it reset. When we were checking in a couple had to wait 30 min to get their keys reset. Then we had to two nights in a row with no explanation, both mind and my husbands didn't work. This could be a huge pain. It clearly wasn't because of cleaning staff entering, because they didn't enter once during the 4 nights we were there. There is no option or DND door sign, as they won't come in anyway. Had to ask for more soap due to them leaving one small thing of shampoo for our family. The pool area needs an update, it gets wet upon use and there are hugely slippery spots. At one time I fell and cracked my knee, the staff would not help my husband find an ice maker to get ice or offer towels as I was sopping wet due to the standing water outside the pool. The indoor/outdoor pool was the reason we selected this hotel. We were on the side of the hotel with a family fun park next door. It is loud, really loud. I would suggest earplugs or getting a room elsewhere. The hotel was totally full and we had no option. It runs every night. Breakfast was fine. About what you would expect. Coffee also fine. Beds were fun, rooms were clean.

Location was clean and the staff was very helpful. Hotel is located near the go karts and beach was not far at all. All in all had a good time.

The only that irritated me was my bedding and the bathroom. The bedding had old blood and the bathroom floors were dirty…. Also everything time I turned on the air conditioner it had a funny smell.

The room was super humid when we got there and had a strong cleaning product smell. I found a diffuser and unplugged it so that helped but I have COPD and it was hard to breathe walking in at first. Other than that, it was ok. Pool was small and the hot tub was full of people since the hotel was full.

I have never written a negative hotel review because if I'm on vacation I always look for the positive. However, there were several problems with our two night stay. First, the gentleman working the front desk the day of check in was incredibly rude, no personality, and acted bothered that people were checking in. He mumbled, never made eye contact, and grunted more than he spoke. Upon arriving to our room, I noticed a few spots that could have been cleaned but the property seems dated so it could have been from age. However, the pull out sofa bed has holes in the cushions. There was absolutely no additional sheets, blankets, or pillows for our boys to use. Then, the air conditioner was so loud whenever running it woke us all up throughout the night both nights. It sounded like a spaceship landing when it turned on and stayed at this high pitch yell throughout. We like to sleep cold and ended up turning it up to limit it coming on. The first night there, our TV was set to Spanish. I went down and asked the guy at the front desk and again, he acted bothered. By the time he finally made it to the room I had figured it out using Google translate on my phone. It isn't that the TV was the issue, it was the staff being less than welcoming. This is our second stay here, the first was eleven years ago, but I don't know that we could return after several really negative encounters.

This has been our Go To hotel when we’re in Destin. The go cart track next door can get loud so I suggest asking for a room farthest away from that side of the hotel. Luckily it quiets down after 10 PM. Other than the noise, the hotel is excellent.

Water faucet will not shut off in the bathroom. The ceiling looks like it’s about to fall in bad stucco. Smell like a wet dog had to go buy air freshener.

Very friendly staff, they upgraded my room for free! Indoor heated pool but who needs it, the beach is a 10 min walk. Fitness center and breakfast every day. The prices beat the surrounding hotels by a longshot. I enjoyed my stay, thanx everyone!
