Capturin' Moments Beach House has been our family home for years and we want to share it with you and your loved ones to create memories that last a lifetime! Just a convenient 4-minute walk to the Dune Allen Beach Regional Access, the white sandy shores are simply a short stroll away. This inviting home is filled with character from vaulted ceilings to charming cubbies, cultivating a memorable stay. The house is located on 30A and sits at the top of a hill, catching the beach breezes and summer sunsets. Vacation begins here with a trendy stock tank pool (Pool will be closed from November 1st through February 28th due to the water being too cold), gas fire pit, billiard room, ping pong table (on top of pool table), corn hole, magnetic darts and grill all for your enjoyment at Capturin' Moments. Our home also features an outdoor shower (hot and cold water) and a garage with a plethora of beach chairs and beach toys. Sleeping up to 17 guests, this is a great house for multiple families to rent together while still having separate space due to the interior layout. There is an attached carriage house that is accessed from the main house through the foyer which features its own full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, wet bar sink, living space with TV (billiard room), 1.5 bathrooms, balcony and it sleeps 4 people (1 king Sleep Number bed, and 2 twin beds). The carriage house bedroom also provides a desk space for working and a Roku flat screen TV. In the main house, on the first floor you walk into a spacious kitchen with an eat-in island connecting to the dining room which showcases an expansive 12-person dining table. Off of the dining room, is the living room with a 55" smart tv and a sectional couch that gazes out to the double sliding glass doors. There is an electric fireplace that can be used with or without heat so you can enjoy the ambience in the winter as well as in the summer. There is a king bedroom with Roku TV on the first floor. It offers an attached full bathroom including double sinks and a luxurious walk-in glass block shower with double shower heads. Off of the kitchen, is a laundry room with an HE top loading washer and HE front loading dryer for you to use during your stay. Moving to the second floor, there are 3 private bedrooms and one full bathroom. The king bedroom with the twin sleeper sofa couch has a 50" Roku flat screen TV and a sliding glass door leading out to a wrap around deck with gulf views. Another 2nd floor bedroom is completed with a fun bunk bed boasting a full bed on the bottom with twin bed on the top and a Roku flat screen TV. The last private 2nd floor room hosts a queen bed and a Roku flat screen TV. There is also a bonus room on the 2nd floor which features a TV, PlayStation and a couch that folds down to make another single sleeper bed. Up the stairs from the bonus room, you will find the third-floor loft complete with a queen size bed and attached kids crawl-in cubby for playing or lounging on the Tempur-Pedic mattress (not included in bed count). Located on the west end of 30A, we are only one block from Stinky's Fish Camp restaurant, an easy 5-minute walk from the house. About a 3-minute drive (1.5 miles) you will find Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, a favorite for enjoying 2.3 miles of pristine and secluded beaches, swimming, hiking, wildlife viewing, picnicking, and fishing. Another great local hot spot is GulfPlace with a plethora of stores, restaurants, and events all only a 5-minute drive from our home. Along 30A there is a 26-mile bike path where you can enjoy biking, jogging, walking, or even rollerblading with views of the sparkling emerald waters. Some vacationers rent street legal golf carts or bikes for getting around 30A, but a car is very beneficial in getting around in this area. During your stay we provide the initial essentials with 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, hand/bath soaps, conditioning shampoo, 1 small dish soap, 1 roll of paper towel, a small supply of dishwashing detergent, and a few kitchen trash bags. These are provided to make your first day at our home as comfortable as possible; however, you will need to purchase more of these items for the remainder of your stay. We provide all of the bathroom and kitchen towels, but you will need to bring your own beach towels. We also have 2 Pack-n-Plays and 2 high chairs for your convenience. We only provide crib sheets so please bring a baby blanket. Minimum age to rent is 20 years old. Capturin' Moments is registered with Walton County. We loved the fire pit, pool/ping pong table, corn hole area and kids cubby. We appreciated the beach chairs and toys, as well as pack and play. Location was perfect, a short, easy walk to the beach. The home was incredibly clean, had everything we needed and everyone agreed we would love to stay here again, just longer next time. This house was perfect for our large, multi-age, multi-interest group! The location was excellent for our beach visits—it really is a 4 min walk to the Dune Allen public beach access. The house is comfortable, clean, and there is a lot of room for people to hang out in their own spaces or all together. The outside spaces are comfortable and inviting. The teens/kids enjoyed playing ping pong, corn hole, and the bunch of board games. I don’t have anything but good things to say about our stay. Lots of amenities for entertainment. Great location to walk to the the public beach entrance and Stinky's. Stinky's is great for breakfast and listening to a band at night. The host was very easy to communicate with if we needed anything. The kitchen is well stocked the only two things we could have used was a whisk and muffin tin. The house has some chairs in the garage. The master bedroom upstairs has a lot of natural light coming through the peak and the glass doors, you get a peak of the gulf through the glass doors, too. We had 10 adults and a 15 month old. We stayed 6 nights and there was plenty of space for everyone. We were so glad to have plenty of parking space for our 4 vehicles and 2 golf carts. The pool table room was perfect for the young adults to hang out late at night and not disturb the rest of the house. The pool was also nice to sit and relax in after a day at the beach. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys in the garage. We brought our own umbrellas and had everything we needed for the beach. We rented golf carts for the week and enjoyed having them to go back and forth with all of our things for the beach. It took less than 2 minutes to get there! The beach house is in an excellent location for Dune Allen beach and so many places to eat and shop. This end of 30A is definitely less crowded and we were glad our house was on that end. It had everything we needed. Plenty of space and Lynette (one of the owners) was so communicative. Any questions i had, she answered (sometimes when i just knew she would be asleep and expected an answer the next day). The kitchen was our mainstay and was grwat for meals for a family of 9\. The booking and checking out and everything in between could not have gone more smoothly. When we pulled into the driveway, I knew we had made the right decision in our vacation home selection. The house was immaculately clean and pleasingly decorated. Our family of seventeen had plenty of room to spread out. The common areas were spacious enough to accommodate our group, and the house had plenty of entertainment to keep the kids happy. My grandkids absolutely loved the pool. Even more than the beach! The location was perfect, too. The beach was a very short walk away, and we were close to plenty of state parks and other activities that we wanted to do. Lynette and Steve, the hosts, are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. My questions about the home were always answered within minutes, and they both made me feel like I was family. I would definitely visit their home again and wholeheartedly recommend it to my friends totally without any reservations. The space was perfect for our needs with plenty to do there and nearby. We set up a Christmas tree in the spacious living area and opened presents Christmas morning. We played board games at the large dining table, put together a puzzle on the kitchen island, and played pool and ping pong in the game room. Outside we played cornhole and made S’mores on the fire pit. It was a quick trip to the beach with some of their plentiful beach toys, and we hopped over to Seaside to eat and shop one afternoon. There was plenty of room to play together and still private enough for us not to wake the four toddlers during nap time or late night games.
