Lovely Townhome with stunning Bay views, Tram to Beach and Pool Vantage Pointe at the Resort offers the most peaceful bay front setting with amazing views of the marina. With 2,421 square feet, this 4BR-3BA (including bonus room) townhome sleeps up to 11 guests and is perfect for one large or two small families! Kick back and relax while enjoying the sparkling blue water of the bay right out the back door. Once inside, you will enjoy the spacious, bay front living room with comfortable seating and a large HDTV. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for the chef in the group. The dining room table seats eight and there is bar stool seating for three. An extra dining table and four chairs makes it a pleasure to have a casual outdoor meal on the screened bay front patio. On the first level is a guest bedroom with a queen bed adjacent to a full bathroom complete with a tub/shower combination. Upstairs is home to the master suite which is comfortably furnished with a king bed, generous closet space, an HDTV, and a private balcony overlooking the bay. The adjoining master bathroom offers a double vanity and a walk-in shower. Just down the hallway is a queen bedroom with its own private balcony and full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. French doors provide access from the queen bedroom to a bonus room with a twin bed. The third floor offers a very spacious bedroom with two queen beds and a picture window that allows plenty of morning sunshine. There are two parking spaces at this unit. The Resort is the premier vacation destination on the Emerald Coast. You will enjoy sugar white beaches, 4 golf courses, 15 world class tennis courts, a full marina with water sports, catch and release fishing, swimming pools, a fitness center with full spa, and 11 miles of walking, jogging or bicycling trails. The five bedroom home worked perfectly for my siblings and I. The home is immaculate and has everything one needs including games and books to just relax in doors or outside. The screened in veranda and balcony allowed us to sit outside and overlook the waters that were so amazing. Everything is just as pictured in the advertisement. There are several stairs leading to each floor; however, we quickly realized the rooms were equipped with tv's and outlets as needed to allow us to comfortably relax and not run back and forth. The view from the master suite balcony was beautiful; we even saw a pod of dolphins swim by right next to us! The house itself could have been cleaner, it hadn't been dusted in awhile - vents and some furniture covered, the bed in one of the bedrooms might have been broken, very noisy and uncomfortable. We didn't reach out as we didn't want to interrupt our stay. The dryer didn't work, we let our clothes hang dry outside. Shower on Main floor didn't have hot water so we all used the showers on the second floor. This house was the perfect size for our group of 6 women visiting for a tennis tournament at the resort. The view off the patios/decks was amazing!! The kitchen was well stocked for what we needed. We all felt the beds were pretty comfy. The couch was also comfy. The two chairs in the living room, the dining chairs and the chairs outside were pretty worn out and/or dirty. We did have an issue with the dryer not drying well, the A/C not cooling properly and a smoke detector battery was chirping at 5:30 am. The mgmt was VERY responsive though and sent someone over first thing to address everything. The AC eventually did cool (we had to call them back a 2nd time) but the dryer really never worked well (even though they said it was) as it took multiple cycles to dry a very small load of towels with the lint trap cleaned. We all felt the duct likely needed cleaning out. All in all it was a good stay and met our needs for the weekend! ##### Cheryl B. Enjoyed our visit and being on the bay was great as usual.. I had previously read that the screened in porch door was “broken” and had hopes that it would be repaired. It has not been replaced but It seems there has been tape added to stabilize screen which was ok. Door works as it should. Screens on porch do allow water to come inside, and it rained several days so porch did stay wet but that would be expected. Also read in other review that the furniture needs a good cleaning or maybe some arm covers which is true. But it’s not a deal breaker. Thermostat would not recognize temperature of room when it reached amount desired and would continue to heat the home causing upstairs to become quite uncomfortable. That was remedied by opening door upstairs and letting cool air in. All in all, a nice townhouse. Just needs a bit of attention and somewhat of an update and minor repairs. The check in and out process was simple and convenient. However, we were disappointed in the cleanliness and condition of the property. The microwave handle was broken off, but placed on the microwave so you couldn't tell until you went to open it and it fell off. The screen on the back porch was torn open so it was not a comfortable space due to bugs. We put in a request for a screen repair, but no one came to repair. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is good inside Sandestin golf and Beach resort. Gorgeous view of the bay. The house is big with lots of room however the furniture is old and needs to be updated. The mattresses are horrible, old and worn and unacceptable for the price of the rental. I would expect bedding like this in a cheap rental, not a luxury resort.The screened in porch chair furniture was old and dirty so you could not enjoy sitting out side. Once the beds and furniture are updated will be very nice and great for a big group and worth the price. Two of the three bathrooms have been remodeled and look great.Lots of research was done before hand but you can’t see quality in a picture. Spent a lot of time and effort and money for our vacation and was not happy . There was just nowhere to be comfortable so it wasn’t relaxing.The property manager Denise was helpful and tried to move us to another unit but only had three bedrooms available and we needed the five bedrooms.I would not recommend this unit until it is updated and had new mattresses. ##### Sonia S. Apr 17, 2023 Liked: Location, listing accuracy Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication #### Beautiful Property that is Poorly Maintained The location of this property is wonderful and the amount of guests it holds was perfect. However, it smelled terrible upon arrival, the bedding in the master bedroom was soiled, the extra pillows looked old and dirty, and there were ants in the kitchen and bedrooms. Me and my daughter were bitten by the ants that caused terrible swelling. We immediately reached out to the property manager and the cleaning lady who were both defensive. They were slow to respond to concerns/issues raised and were even more defensive even with the pictures and videos provided. They sent maintenance out with Raid spray that further aggravated the ants and they remained in the property. I literally had a back and forth with the cleaning lady (who stated she knew for a fact the place was clean because her daughter cleaned it) but we saw different. The property manager was equally defensive but became apologetic, a little, after I told her we also have a rental business and never treat our tenants this way. I also advised that a new cleaning company is needed as we had to buy candles, carpet freshener, deodorizer, and wash dirty dishes and silverware that were placed in drawers as if they were clean. I would love to speak with the owners and share the pictures of their property so they can see what we, their paying guests, walked into. We were most comfortable when we were outside of the property in the first 3 days. We had to remedy issues that we should have never encountered on vacation. We stay at the resort every spring break but this was our first time at this unit. We have never encountered anything like this upon arrival to Destin/Sandestin. We will continue to stay at Baytowne by the Wharf. As beautiful as this property was in the pictures and the views they display; if the cleaning company doesn't change and if the property manager doesn't change to provider better customer service; I would not recommend this particular unit. ##### Yolanda B. It is an older home, so there are some signs of that, but I felt it was priced accordingly. The community is nice and quiet and the pool was an easy walk from the home. We had no problems finding parking at the beach access, and it’s a quick drive. I was initially worried it’d be too cumbersome getting to the beach, but it wasn’t. Reviewer Comments: My fiancé and I had a terrible time planning our wedding the house we originally had sold and with weeks before the wedding I had no idea what we were going to do! I found this gem and so glad we booked it! The community was absolutely gorgeous! I was able to utilize the gym facility which had a sauna room and workout classes it was amazing for me because I wanted to be active while I was down there with all the amazing seafood you eat! Our kiddos enjoyed this house, my oldest said it was the most beautiful house she had ever been in and on top of the views from the top floor were to die for! The only thing I had for a disclaimer and maybe it was in the fine print and I read over but there wasn’t any back up trash bags and we didn’t realize until the day we were leaving and cleaning up everything, the ones we had were super cheap quality and it would rip if we put any other thing in there. I hated leaving trash right outside the house too but I guess that is just how it is in the community :/ but other than that we absolutely would love to stay here in the future. One morning, we were excited to have a quick visit from a dolphin within close view from our back balconies; we also enjoyed watching fish jump. The property was gorgeous, community pool was clean and fun for our family of 10 (ages 8 months to 41 years). Screen door on balcony needs some repair, otherwise condo was clean, beautiful and in great shape. There was a loud barking dog from the one neighbor, but they left after a couple days. I did have one question and alerted the host about a couple minor issues. The host responded very quickly and offered to fix the issues. The first day, the house smelled a little like mildew, but no signs of mold anywhere. The smell went away after the first day, possibly just stale air within close proximity to the water. ##### Tera C. Plenty of room for our family of 10\. Hostess was very prompt in answering our questions. Only downside was parking only available for 2 vehicles at property. Was allowed to leave the other two at the golf course parking lot. Just was inconvenient if you have more than 2 vehicles.
