The access roads to get to the cabin are a little difficult to navigate. The cabin is a bit more remote than I would have preferred but is exactly as photographed. It was well done, clean, and comfortable. A full sized bed is a little small for 2 adults but we made it work for the evening. The host responded quickly and was nice. Don’t let the lack of reviews stop you from booking! Make sure you bring your own food because there is quite literally nothing around within 15 minutes. The microwave was a little annoying to use but no big deal. We appreciated the espresso pods. I wish there was a curtain that closed off all the glass because it felt a little eerie at night! Naturally there was some critters(bugs) but that’s expected in the middle of the woods. No issue there. It is still close enough to Shenandoah if you don’t mind a 40ish min drive to skyline drive.
