The Villa is nestled on one of St. Lucie County's Largest working horse ranches in the Northwest area of Fort Pierce. The property is located within a lovely horse boarding facility, in what looks like an old western village. The hosts were very kind and check-in was easy. We also enjoyed looking at and petting a few of the horses on site. Really beautiful surroundings and friendly hosts. As noted by other reviewers, there's some traffic noise from the turnpike behind the property, but it wasn't enough to annoy us or disturb our sleep. The only other glitch was that the water from the faucets smelled strongly of sulfur, which I assume is from a well water system. There is beautiful horses and my favorite part was the different animals that would greet us each morning and night on my way to the car. We got to pet the nicest kitty and hangout with 2 cute pups! The loft is so cute , love the style and love that the bathroom has two stalls, the ONLY issue we had was the water in the sink and shower smelled like straight sulfur. Well done interior and had all the right finishing touches. Very rustic yet modern at the same time. Fridge, microwave and coffee all provided. The host even provided all the dinnerware so we could grill steak. 2 main points - the water has a strong sulphur odor, but bottled drinking water was provided. Also, it's very close to the main highway so you can hear traffic all through the night. The owners have a very unique style, using horse and ranch fittings to decorate. Bed was comfortable . Unfortunately, the wifi and tv were out and the coffee maker worked intermittently. Tammy is a great hostess. We stayed in the loft. It has a lot of rustic charm. The bed is comfy. The noise from the turnpike did not bother us, it was just background noise, nothing to complain about. Don't drink the sulfer water, there were a few bottles in the room. We were only there over night but we will definitely be returning and recommending to others. Imo, this place was fabulous. Thank you Tammy! ##### Tina C. Our stay was abbreviated because our daughter had to have surgery and we had to miss the first 9 days. We only stayed there for 2 nights because my wifes CPAP machine wouldn't work because the Wi-Fi was very poor and she was having a problem with breathing while trying to sleep. We did get reimbursed for 5 days out of the12 days we didn't/couldnt stay there of our 14 day reservation. We ended up paying for another place to stay until the 15th of December when we could get into our condominium. I would suggest a hand rail for the 3 steps going up to the platform the bed was on for safety and stronger wi-fi. Robert Clark ##### Robert C. Well priced compared with alternatives. About 20 minutes driving time from Ft Pierce beach. Tammy was very accommodating with exceptional communications. Consider asking her for a noise masking /cancelling device as the highway noises are loud (I did not know this was an option until check out). Consider bringing bottled water to drink, as the country well water has a sulfur smell and taste.... We went through the bottled water quickly. I suspect Tammy would have given us more bottles if asked. ##### Goodman R.
