Very private paradise. The yard is fenced for ultimate privacy. There are empty lots on either side and just nature across the canal. The pool and lanai area are huge with over 1100 sq feet of screened sunny splendor. The lanai area has a glass table for 4 with swivel, rocking chairs, two loungers, and 4 comfy cushioned chairs and coffee table. There is a large kitchen window pass through. Also on the deck area are another table for 4 near the gas grill and two other loungers. The spa seats 6 and has 50 jets, and lights. Along with 3 fans and lights, we also have two lighted palm tree lamps on the lanai just for fun! If you prefer to tan without a screen we have a separate tanning pad or the dock area. Inside we have air conditioning, lighted fans in each bedroom, living room and family room. This home is nicely furnished and decorated. Comfort is key! Reclining seats in the family room with a 50 inch TV. My cancellation policy is negotiable Comfort is key!: All house furnishings are geared to comfort. You can put your feet up in the family room and really relax! There are plenty of glasses and bowls, utensils and pans. The lanai is large and has several seating areas. The pool is heated and protected from north winds in the winter. The hot tub has 50 jets and changing colored lights. There is an additional deck area for lounging, grilling, eating. There is even an area outside of the screened enclosure for tanning. Because the whole yard is fenced, it is extremely private for swimming and sunning. The 50 inch TV has HD and includes many music channels. There is unlimited local and long distance calling in the US only. There is a wireless router and work area with view to the lanai and canal. The dining table has swivel, chairs on casters. They are leather with arms, very comfortable for sitting. You can watch TV from the table if desired. Great for playing family games. There is a printer for your use and two computer chairs. Canal: This house faces East on a fresh water canal. It receives lots of sunshine all day from sun up through sun set. Because the house makes a little shade on the pool in the afternoon, it is still bearable on the really hot summer days. You can sit in our screened front porch area to watch the sunsets. There are no houses across the canal so this also contributes to the very private feel of this house. The canal is very close to Shamrock Lake, Lake Saratoga and Lake Kennedy. Convenient Location: Another positive for this house is it's great location. You could walk or ride your bike (basket on bike) to the grocery store. You can ride bikes to two close by parks that have a playground for the kids. Sunsplash Water Park and Mike Greenwell's Family Fun Park are both only a mile away. It is very close to the main roads with restaurants. It is 10 miles to Cape Coral Yacht Club beach, 25 miles to Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach, about 8 miles to Fort Myers and the Edison/Ford Estate. The airport is 21 miles away. This house is listed as the 22nd least expensive out of 869 listings for Cape Coral. You get a lot of value for your money when renting this house. Many guests return yearly after staying at Sunny Paradise. Everything in the house is filthy and not save to use. All of the amenities are either dirty, missing or broken. The pool was difficult to enjoy since the heating system is broken. Called the owner and he claimed it is working fine but clearly not since it was cold. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets have not been cleaned in years. The plates are sticky, the pots dirty, utensils are rusted w/food stuck on, glasses had residue from previous use. Laundry room shelf has a toilet bowl brush right in front of where you load washer. Washer was on rinse and spin cycle so it leads me to believe that even the sheets/towels don't get washed just rinsed. Broken floor titles around pool making it dangerous/unsafe. In addition to this already being a disaster, the most disturbing is the owner could not care less about his guests. We had to leave the home 2 days early due to the State of Emergency/Evacuation order issued by the State due to Hurricane Helene. We sent the owner a text to let him know we were leaving early and later tried to call him but he blocked my number...clearly trying to avoid us since he know we would be asking for refund of the unused time. Policy states the owner must refund for unused time in such circumstances. Since we could not reach him, we called for assistance. He was contacted and sure enough, he denied it. This vacantion was disturbing and disappointing. Unfit property and careless host. ##### Rui A. If you want modern and fancy, this is not the place for you. With that said everything was clean-- and the house was perfect for our 3 teen boys. They were able to fish off the (very small) canal-- and even caught a few bass. We spent time in the hot tub and pool every night. The pool was warm- perfect for the cooler weather. There was a lot of outdoor seating where we were able to have our meals. We were able to do laundry. The location worked well for us too-- and a bonus was Saratoga Lake Park close by where the boys were able to spend more time fishing off the dock. We were also able to watch a lot of football on the large TV in the living room. Check in/out was easy. Happy with our time spent at the house. ##### Heather S. House had everything we needed in it besides food. Pool and hot tub were clean and ready for use. Neat little canal out back. Short drive to the beach and pine island. Water park right around the corner. I would highly recommend this home for a family looking to escape and have a good time. ##### Dave S. Séjour de 7 nuits en novembre 2023 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### Suzette D. 16 oct. 2023 Points faibles : Propreté #### Not renter friendly and amenities not usable We (3 adults, 2 toddlers) arrived first day to a filthy pool (husband picked out a screw, slivers of metal & pieces of wood to send in a pic to mgr.). Manager said maintenance would arrive in 1 hour. Then was told sometime in afternoon, but same day. Didn't show up until 2nd day and the supervisor said he told owner the week before they had pressure washed patio surrounding the pool & that pool was filthy and needed cleaned. Lost 1-1/2 days of pool use and they still had to come back the following day to finish getting pool to circulate. Kitchen was not acceptable for cleanliness. Needed to wash and scrub every dish, pot, pan, utensils, coffee pot to get clean before using. Rusty knives, chipped cups and cracks in plates. Cabinets dirty inside. Igloo cooler had to be scrubbed inside and out with bleach before use. Then woke up Thursday morning to pool maintenance man outside working on pool a third time so couldn't get in pool again due to chemicals. We paid for house with a pool and assumed we could swim in it. Reported all issues to owner and this was his response: "the things you brought up in 22 years I have never had complaints so I will just write off that I could never satisfy you". No apology. Didn't offer any discount whatsoever for pool being unusable or condition of kitchen and kitchen wares. If he's treated renters like this for 22 years I do not recommend renting from him ever.
