So much room that we didn't even use the dining room area. We had meals either on the kitchen counter or outside patio. When we were "home" and not sleeping, most of the time was spent by the heated pool area for both the kids and the adults. The kids did enjoy the pool toys and floats that were available to us in the garage. They swam first thing in the morning and late at night. The adults hung out on the patio; there was very comfortable seating and we enjoyed the smart tv - just music from youtube - that was able to slightly drown out the noisy excitement and fun the kids were having nearby. The owners definitely thought of things that would come in handy for families - even if we were planning on visiting the surrounding beaches: such as all the beach towels, 8 beach chairs, and even beach toys. There were plenty of other amenities in the kitchen as well as the bathroom (can't believe they even had q-tips). The kitchen was stocked as well with everything imaginable. The screened in pool with pool toys and pool lights definitely kept the family entertained. Our main reason for visiting was to be in closer proximity to various beaches in SW Florida and we did visit some of the recommended beaches that the owner's had laid out in the binder (Sanibel Island did have nice seashells - but I was even more surprised by what we were able to find in Lynn Hall Memorial Park Beach and The Pier at Fort Myers Beach - where we spent an entire day - 12+hours). The reason for visiting Cape Coral was to be within driving distance of the beaches... but this home was definitely one of the highlights of our visit and it even had what we needed to enjoy the beaches (towels, chairs, toys, umbrellas, etc.). The moment we walked in the frustrations of the days travel instantly evaporated. I thought it was so kind they had fresh flowers, wine, water, Capri suns and some snacks to hold us over until we got to the grocery store. As a mom- this was HUGE. The home was spotless- I’m a type A person and the organization and cleanliness throughout appealed to me. Our absolute favorite memories were made on the lanai. The pool was gorgeous and consistently a perfect temperature. I appreciated the communication from the host and we were thankful to make so many memories here. My wife and I (and our dog) rented this great house for 9 days, and were joined by our daughter and her boyfriend for part of that time. There was ample room for the four of us in the beautiful kitchen and living area, but the star of the house is the lanai and pool area. We have been staying in VRBO properties for over 20 years, and the pool/lanai area made this the best place we have ever stayed. We were blessed with beautiful weather for most of the time we were there, and did get out to explore some of the interesting things to see and do in the area -- Pine Island/Matlacha/St. James City, the Edison/Ford winter estate, Sanibel/Captiva (but be ready for traffic), caught some Twins spring training, and if you're there on a Wednesday, check out the special at Twisted Lobster -- but we spent most of our time enjoying the pool and NOT being at home in a Minnesota winter. The owner Debi and property manager Evolve were extremely responsive to any questions; we can't recommend this properly highly enough! ##### Brian L. My husband and I spent a week in Cape Coral, relaxing and visiting our daughter and her family. We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home. The colors and decor are simple, not fussy or over decorated, and the layout is spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed and the island made a perfect casual dining spot with the nice high bar stools with backs. The master bed is soft but firm (YAY! Not one of those rock hard beds or hot memory-foam mattresses we have had in some houses) and the couch is long enough for a nap. The location is great, with several grocery stores and lots of food options within a 15-minute drive and easy access to Ft. Myers across the Cape Coral Parkway bridge. The neighborhood is very quiet and well-kept and the people were friendly when my husband took his daily walks. The landscaping is typical Florida with their funky grass and looks nice from the street. A few suggestions:: a place to sit in one of the bedrooms when you want to get away from the television; a standing fan for the master bedroom (even in January it got a little stuffy); a television in the master bedroom for those of us who like to fall asleep with the tv on; a garage door opener or the pad code for easier access to the garage; and some kind of planting or lattice to give privacy in the pool/lanai area. We will definitely consider staying here again on one of our frequent trips to Cape Coral! ##### Carol S.
