This is 2nd floor facing beach near stairwell. Beach, Marina, Ocean, groceries. As close to the ocean as you can get. One of two units in the complex that is facing the ocean. Enjoy your island vacation in this spacious and tastefully decorated, Florida motif, direct Gulf-front, one bedroom condo. The Shores is directly across the street from Publix grocery store. It is situated directly on the Gulf of Mexico, with stunning views of Estero Bay and Sanibel Island. On the South end of the island is Santini's Plaza where there is plenty of shopping, a drug store, a book store, a hardware store, restaurants, and a marina with boat rentals. The Shores is directly across the street from Publix grocery, a Marina and a restaurant. All are located on the bay. The condo features a large patio area with tiki huts and deck. This one bedroom condo has it all. One of the units that has direct gulf views from all rooms. You will experience a truly tropical and exotic feel with ocean views from every window,and warm ocean breezes and fragrant flowers. Direct access to the seven miles of white, pristine beach and the Gulf of Mexico and only 2 miles from the pier and 'Times Square'. The island trolley stops in front of condo for easy access to Lovers Key State Park and other island attractions. Stretching along the southwest coastline are some of Florida's best beaches that are fun for the whole family, like Fort Myers Beach on Estero Island, a 7-mile stretch of sun-washed sand. The beach has public amenities like restrooms, showers, and parking spots near the Lynn Hall Memorial Park. Since the waves are gentle and the waters are shallow, kids and adults can swim on the beach. If you are into shelling, stroll around the shoreline for opportunities to collect different types of sea treasures washed ashore by the gentle waves. At the northern tip of Estero Island is a quiet coastal escape, Bowditch Point Park. This park spans 17 acres with dual-shore access to the Gulf of Mexico and Matanzas Bay. You will find shaded picnic pavilions, barbecue grills, and outdoor showers. Take a walk through the trails that wind through the restoration preserve, a great place for bird-watching. If you want a secluded beach experience, Lovers Key State Park is a beautiful stretch of sand surrounded by mangroves and tidal lagoons. Located south of Fort Myers Beach, Lovers Key is about a 15-minute drive via Estero Boulevard. The park has 2.5 miles of pristine beaches. Right on the beach, beautiful weather, tons of sea shells, right across the street from publix grocery store for convenience. Condo was clean and overlooked the gulf. We slept to the sound of the waves every night. Karen was amazing and kept in touch during the week. My only advice is if you do not rent a car do not count on Uber at all, it was never available so definitely schedule a ride to airport with a taxi company. ##### Patty R. I asked for the windows to be left cracked open for airflow before our arrival for COVID reasons and was ignored. I know there were people there the day of our arrival as there was a wet glass in the cupboard. Floors were dirty, beach chairs were useless as they were rusted. Beach towels were old and flimsy. Bed pillows were flat and old. The listing listed kayaks and bikes, when I confirmed a few days before our arrival they were there, I was told we could get them in the area. Gas grill was on listing, only 2 charcoal grills in the building's storage area which was being treated for an infestation while we were there. The gas grill, kayaks and bikes have now been removed from the listing after I complained. We ended up leaving 2 days early from our 4 night stay because we were so disgusted. I tried working with the owner for a partial refund (I even requested less than the 2 nights I was charged) she said I should have canceled (her listing says no cancellations, hmmm) or let her know the floors needed mopping, she would have brought towels, chairs and mopped the floors. Ok. Sure. Maybe make sure things are ok before renting your place out. Won't be using VRBO again. ##### Pamela S. The view is top-notch as are the owners of this property, Don & Karen go the extra mile to make sure that you are satisfied and answer any questions you may have ASAP. You will find this condo perfect for a getaway or an extended stay, all the amenities are right there as well as a Publix right across the street. I would definitely stay here again, in my honest opinion, this is the best condo on the property as it has the best location and definitely the best views, glad I came across this little gem !! ##### michael s.
