The house was very nice—great area, clean and company easy to work with. Still sad to see the devastation from Ian; looks like a lot of places are being rebuilt but feel very sorry for the small business owners and the people that don’t have cash flow to rebuild, due to insurance claims that are being denied. We couldn’t contact the host until the next day as it was “after hours” and not considered an emergency. Unfortunately the more we looked around, the more problems we noticed such as mold on the kitchen chairs and dirty linens on the pillows and beds. The last straw was having a roach drop on my hair from the ceiling. Tried calling management company numerous times. Very difficult to get a call back. Was promised someone would be out to fix the pool. No one ever came. So pool was unusable for the entire time. Cleaners were sent while we were out but nothing was cleaned but the floor.
