The open floor plan, recently renovated with new tile floors, new furniture, all new queen beds and updated plumbing, overlooks a heated pool, a dock and the canal that accesses into the Gulf of Mexico. All three bedrooms have individual in suite baths. The master suite has a separate entry to the deck that overlooks the pool and the canal.The Great Room is newly decorated and has a high definition TV with Comcast On-Demand and an entertainment system with surround sound. Wireless internet is available in the entire house (and pool area!) The home is 200 yards from one of the widest points of beach on Fort Myers Beach. There are restaurants, bike and boat rentals nearby. This is a wonderful location in an area that will be even better as fort meyers beach comes back from the storm. The inside looks exactly like the pictures. I wish we would have had a heads up about the storm damage to the bottom half of the house before we arrived. This would not have changed our minds but it was a little surprising when we pulled up. It also would have been nice to have more toiletries and paper towels available, or a heads up that we would need to bring our own. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. The pool was wonderful! We actually saw a dolphin swim right under the dock chasing fish. A suggestion would be to have a key lock instead of having to drive to an off site location to obtain the keys. Our flight was very delayed and at 4:00 a.m. it was a bit much to drive by the house to get the keys. We also experienced a lot of bug bites while fishing so we definitely recommend bug spray!!! The house was in great condition, and allowed our family to spread out and have plenty of space. We loved being on the canal and the private pool!
