There were a few issues to start, as some of the advertised "kitchen" items were not in the room as promised. But a message to Ray was answered quickly and the items brought over. The place was super clean, great bathroom area, and the pool area was lovely. Do note that the room itself is small/the bed is a large portion of the space - if you have mobility limitations, this may not be the place for you. Also, note that while there is a fridge/microwave, it's in a closet area and there is not a lot of room for using it/prepping food around it. It was ok for us, as we just needed it for small snacks/breakfast items, but just be aware of that for planning purposes. ##### Paige S. Lauderdale The owner very friendly and approachable, and we appreciated his hospitality. The property is in a quiet, safe neighborhood with a fantastic pool, which we really enjoyed. The interior was perfect and met our needs. However, a few minor issues impacted our stay: the A/C was controlled by the owner, the auto lock was irritating, and the WiFi wasn’t working and couldn’t be resolved during our visit. With a few adjustments, this property could be an excellent choice for future stays. ##### Maggie H. BEWARE! The house was a small house in an older community. When we walked into the house we walked into in a very small bathroom. The one door led into a single bedroom. The bedroom was the resort. It had one double bed, which took up much of the room. The advertised refrigerator was a tiny one, along with a microwave which were located in the closet, where they were unusable. There was nowhere to store clothes. There was a small pool behind the house, but the owner said that we used it, the house would become a resort, and we would have to pay a fee. We slept in the bed the first night, but when my wife went to take a shower in the morning, she found the shower filled with roaches. We called the owner to fix it, but when we returned that night, the roaches were still there. We packed our things, and left. I called the owner and asked for a refund, however he didn't believe about the roaches, and refused to give us a refund. We shouldn't have stayed there at all. We have traveled the world and this one of the worst experiences that I have ever had. Centrally located to Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Miami. Great host -- Ray was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a hotel type frig, microwave, and coffee maker. The bath has a nice size shower. There's a covered porch in the private backyard, plus a heated pool, a lanai, lounges, outdoor table and chairs, BBQ, etc. All are nicely maintained, decorated, and landscaped. Ray greeted me and welcomed me and gave me some suggestions on where to take my fiancée! Great private entrance, code provided to open door. Pretty neat. Fiancée arrived and she was pretty amazed on how ease of access it was. Very clean room. Pros: Easy access and access to your room any time of night, your privacy is guaranteed, clean, access to basic TV apps like YouTube, quiet, access to basic amenities such as a microwave, a mini fridge, coffee maker, full bathroom. Cons: If parking with two cars, the second car will be ambushed by the foliage on the driver's side which could use some cutting, although it doesn't do any damage whatsoever to the car, it is annoying trying to fight through the foliage to get inside the driver'sside of the car. The room was a little warm to our liking despite having a fan. OVERALL: This is one place that I would highly recommend if you are by yourself or with another person. The pros heavily outweigh the cons and we would definitely book again. Ray and Gavin are wonderful hosts with cute small dogs, me and my fiancée were very happy with the room we got. 4.5/5 ##### Rashan W.
