The bathrooms, walls, countertops, and shower were all visibly unclean, and there was even garbage left on the floors. The overall condition of the room was extremely disappointing. Housekeeping isn’t included either — they charge extra if you request it. That is the only good thing about this hotel. Rooms are dirty and dated. The bathroom was disgusting hair and grime all around the edges of the floor. Door to room was not very secure with only one deadbolt. We put our luggage in front of door for added security. Ok location, not a lot of restaurants around unless you want to spend a bunch of money. Better options about a 10min walk away. In the morning it was somewhat reliable - but guaranteed not to work after about 8:00p Our cell phones did not connect well from inside the rooms The room was basic and aged - but seemed to be clean. Loved the on-site parking. You can tell that this hotel used to be something really cool. If they could get the bar and restaurant back open, it would be a much better place! There are some really cool elements to it, I do love an old place and definitely understand how difficult old places can be to care for. This one has a lot of character. The room was in rough shape, but the bed was comfortable, the table and chairs, bedding, all of that it's clean. The pool area was pretty nice. And you can't beat crossing the street for the beach.
