Poinsettia Heights is often described as the best-kept secret in Fort Lauderdale. Established in the early 1900s, today it is a mixture of lovingly restored old Florida style homes and newer homes, townhomes and condos shaded by native oaks and mahogany trees. Jun 24, 2025 Liked: Check-in Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy #### Okay for short stay, needs maintenance, not so private patio The property was relatively clean and new, however, the bathroom could definitely use some improvement, the shower is rusted and grimy, doesn’t drain well, etc. The main complaint I have was that this property was listed as having a “private patio”. While the patio was fenced in, it is shared by the other tenants of the triplex, which would’ve been very nice to know as we were a group of young women and very surprised to see a group of adult men right outside our back door on the first night.
