Basic, No Frills Accommodations. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I appreciate the extra pillows on the bed. Room is very basic with a no frills presentation and aged amenities. For example, TV has lines on screen and intermittently disconnects from network. Mattress was lumpy. Toiletries limited to small container of Dove brand shampoo and bar soap; there is no hair conditioner, skin lotion, etc. Breakfast offering was also basic, but good enough if you are on the run.

It was a pleasure staying at La Quinta. The area was nice. The facility was nice. I enjoyed the hot tub overall I had a nice experience.

We arrived later in the evening around 8:30pm, we had 5 rooms and they graciously put us all together. And although the pool officially closes at 9pm, they advised that if quiet and no complaints we could still go use the hot tub. It was a very nice gesture and one we took advantage of. After a long day of travel we ordered pizza and ate in the large lobby/breakfast area. Continental breakfast had a few hot options and fed the crew. Just a short walk to lots of shopping. About a 20 minute drive from Dania Beach. Was a good night stay.

The first night of my stay, my neighbors were very disruptive. They were making loud noises (singing, dancing and slamming doors) between 1:00 am and 4:00 am. I called down to the front desk to get assistance in quieting them down and got no response. I requested a room change the next and was moved. Stay was perfect after that incident!

Hot tub is cold with no time table to get fixed. WiFi shows full bars but barely works. Better off using the one bar of cellular signal you get in your room. Lucky if front desk answers the phone. Was given a handicap room with hair on bathroom floor. Ac isn't the best and room selection was not what was requested. Lucky I got 1st floor because the scary elevator is broken again.

Front desk was friendly; breakfast was ok. Much of the property undergoing fix-up and improvements but nice enough. Only bad experience was the housekeeper who let the door slam on the deadbolt lock EVERY TIME, EVERY 3 minutes, she entered or left the room to get something from her cart while I was trying to rest before my night shift. Geez!

We enjoyed our stay. It was in a quiet area but walkable to publix and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable. Basic breakfast that lacked variety and they didnt have fruit left when we went down to eat.
