First room was filthy, but after calling the attendant back to the lobby, he was quick to correct and upgraded the room. The new room was clean, nice and comfortable. The pool was clean and nice, loved the gardens all around. A Spanish villa retreat. Great location away from the beach noise but just a short walk. The hotel group this location belongs to (North Village) has several restaurants in the area, a wine and garden spot for the evenings, a store, a fantastic breakfast coffee/bakery restaurant and a juice/smoothie bar. It isn't the most luxurious or fancy place, it's actually a little run down, but you can tell it's an older building so with that taken into account it's reasonable. The nicest part of it is the little common pool and patio area in the front; it's clean, decorated well and private away from the main road. The king bed itself was hard and fairly uncomfortable personally but nothing more than a slight inconvenience; same can be said for the small TV being incredibly far from the head of the bed, but TV isn't exactly important in a hotel room to me. Parking is probably my biggest issue, it's $10 a night to just park on the side of the street, and if the area is crowded during your stay, you'll probably park in the grass like I did. Loved the courtyard/pool area. We stayed there a couple times. First room 1103 was very small and the bathroom faucet fell off, flooding our bathroom rendering the water unusable. When we got a second room it was great 1106\.
