Pros: Everything was fine for the most part other than the alarm and the power outage.
Cons: not much to be improved
Location: The location was quite good for where I needed to go.
Everything was fine up until the last day. For some reason the power kept going out which made it difficult to get ready for a job interview. Then the alarm went off and everyone had to go outside, still making it difficult to get ready for a job interview. That was my only issue.

Hot, stuffy, loud, room

Pros: Check in clerk helped us with restaurant ideas and took the time to print some info. Printer too light to read, but at least she tried.
Cons: Housekeeping and staff should have noticed these problems. Guest should not encounter them.
Room 415 was stuffy and warm when we walked in. Also, it was designed for someone with a handicap, which we did not have. This meant grab bars and no counter space in the bath. It was given up to accommodate a wheelchair. Absolutely nowhere to put toiletries. Then we picked up remote to turn on TV. It was WET. Of course, it did not work. I hate to think how it got wet.... We asked for a new room, but they persuaded us to try the new remote and at that point we thought the air conditioning might be okay once it reached temperature. So we tried to sleep. There was a digital thermostat on the wall, but the air came from a unit below the window that had two dials on it The dials did nothing. We set the temp on the wall down to 64, still warm. The A/C was running, loudly, all the time and the room stayed warm and stuffy. But the A/C never caught up or cooled. Finally called the desk again after finding it impossible to sleep. They confirmed that the thermostat on the wall was supposed to work. They still wanted to send someone up--this time to fix the air conditioning or show us how to work the thermostat (a lesson which we did not need.) We were leaving on a 7 am flight. Needed sleep, not an engineer! So late at night, we repacked our stuff and moved to a new room. Lost our swimsuits in the process. Room was clean, except for gross remote. Score on cleanliness based on that.

Un bon choix pour passer une nuit avant de poursuivre son voyage. Hotel confortable même si la décoration est un peu vieillotte. Chambres calmes si on éteint la climatisation. Un restaurant sur place ce qui est agréable quand on arrive après un long voyage. Une navette gratuite toutes les heures pour le port de croisieres ou l'aéroport. Le personnel est accueillant. Cet hôtel correspond à ce que l'on attend de ce type d'établissement : sans charme mais fonctionnel et efficace.

Staff was friendly and accomodating. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Great location and amenities with a nice restaurant and lounge area. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again.

Good room for price and location

Pros: Price, location, cleaniness, lobby snacks, parking.
Cons: Breakfast buffet. It didn't seem like a great deal. $12 for the same stuff that's usually free at other hotels.
Location: Rocco's Tacos & Tequila was amazing. They make fresh guacomole right at your table!! Hollywood Beach is the best.
The staff was nice to me, but not to my friend. I'm from FL, so I wasn't shocked, but she's from overseas, so it was embarrasing for me that she had to deal with that. The hotel was nice and clean. The room was comfortable. The only mishap was that one of the knobs on the AC unit was missing, so we could only adjust the tempature; we couldnt turn it off. This review would be a 3 if it weren't for the free, fresh snacks in the lobby; lemonade, cookies, and coffee. The parking was great; we were able to always park right up front. They had decals, so not just anyone could park, etc. We didn't try the grill in the lobby, but it was pretty packed for dinner, so I can only assume it was good. The $12 per person breakfast buffet is not a deal; it's mostly the same stuff that comes continential/free at other hotels. Anyone can get better food for cheaper at Waffle House/IHOP/Denny's, etc. We ended up going to Waffleworks (a diner type place) about another exit south; it was good. All in all, it was better than I expected, but I had mediocre expectations with the price; it was about $30-$60 less than most other hotels nearby. I would stay here again and I'd likely refer it, as well.
