Basic clean hotel for a one night stay pre cruise. Nice clean pool but downtown construction is very noisy. Close to restaurants drug store…complimentary breakfast was decent. Negatives: No in room safe. No make up mirror.

Pros:Great location, modern facilities, complimentary breakfast and onsite $20 in and out parking in a covered garage are all great options. Cons: Check in was an issue because the person could not find my Expedia reservation and did not try to assist, just told me "call Expedia" and it ended up being on an Expedia list right in front of him. My last name is 2 names and it was blended into one.

I like how clean Fairfield rooms were. However, there were couple of other things that I did not like. The parking was bad. No space to park. Customer service was terrible. There is a racist that works at the front desk that seemly only attacks minorities. This guy name John Goodman was extremely prejudices, use racist tactics and makes very inappropriate statements towards black guests and other minorities. Another one would follow us around during breakfast, as if we don't belong there. This makes minorities feel very unwelcome. Im surprised that they have such people working there.
