We booked one night stay for our anniversary (thru Expedia). Check in is at 4:00pm but room was not ready. They waived the $25 dollar parking fee (which is ridiculous). We booked this room because we enjoyed using the hot tub. While waiting for our room we find out the hot tub is broken. We asked to cancel our reservation because the hot tub was broken and we weren’t not informed by either Expedia or Hilton. They said we were SOL, money not refundable. They then asked if I wanted to upgrade the room to ocean view for $25, so I said sure, perhaps the view would make up for the lack of amenity. We got to our room and began to feed our 4month old baby at that time, the cleaning lady walked into our room without knocking!!! WTF. The room is very outdated, the view of the ocean was blocked by a big palm tree since we were on the second floor( not worth the $25). Let me also mention, the butt print on the glass sliding door to our spacious balcony(not). Stains on the carpet and furniture, no bible in the room (when did this stop being a thing). I will say Beach is nice and breakfast is good. My advice would be deadlock your door and call to make sure everything is in working order. Request room higher than 2nd floor.
