    The staff at the Doubletree was outstanding. The location to shopping, dining, FL Live Arena excellent. I was very disappointed in the condition of our room. The facility is very outdated: carpeting so worn that there were holes; the armchair was old and very uncomfortable to sit in; the shower curtain was worn out nylon so much so it did not prevent the bathroom floor from getting wet; hems on the drapes were falling; no USB charging available in the room. Seriously in need of updating.

    Hotel is outdated, not safe, known for car thefts, dirty rooms , unfriendly staff. My car was broken into and there was theft. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the middle of the night

    I booked a room with 2 beds I was given an “upgrade” to a honeymoon suite with a king and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable. The air outlet was right above the bed, directing the air straight at us. We had to turn the ac off. The carpet was sticky, there was hair in the sink from previous guests. The room was big but it’s hard to think it’s one of the best rooms of the hotel.

    The staff that greeted us and checked us in was very friendly, everything was good for the age of the hotel. The carpets in the room could definitely use an update/deep clean. And an all around referb, but overall it was ok! Definitely overpriced, but they can because of the area and lack of competition. Having the Freebee (free tesla shuttle) option was such a luxury!
