This beautiful home is located in the Oakland Park subdivision of coral heights bordering Fort Lauderdale and only minutes to Wilton Manors. The ocean and beach are just a few minutes away and Las Olas Boulevard (famed for its food, shopping, and entertainment) is a short drive. Every direction you go from this home you will find entertainment. With Fort Lauderdale dubbed the 'Venice of America' and the yachting capital of the world, you have easy access to many marinas where you can charter and rent boats. If eco-tourism is your interest we have everglades national park where you can view the wildlife. Seminole Hardrock casino is within a 30-minute drive where you can enjoy gambling, retail, entertainment, and dining. There were some communication issues with the owner/property manager. The most concerning was the thermostat, which set itself between 75-77 and locked us out from changing it. When I tried to get help from the property manager, I got responses like “just turn it down” and “looks fine on our end.” It wasn’t until I sent them a picture of the thermostat set at 77 that they actually fixed the issue. Or so I thought— I was very warm our last night and woke up to find the thermostat set at 75\. This really put a damper on our stay, both because the temperature was uncomfortable (no one wants to come home from a Florida summer day to a house that’s 77), and because I had to waste time during our stay communicating with the property manager when I should have been relaxing (and they didn’t seem to want to take my word for it until I sent the picture). I have stayed at a number of vacation rentals and have never been locked out from being able to adjust the temperature to my comfort. I gave 4 starts because the overall property was very nice, but I would caution anyone staying there to be vigilant about checking the temperature settings. The owner is certainty vigilant about checking in on the renters, with his numerous cameras and remote sensors. ##### Emily K. Conveniently located near beach and everything. Few things were also off the track (One of the room was missing a lamp. Rear door didn’t work properly and couldn’t get it locked. Had to use a rod. My family and I travel often and always book rental homes but this home was just what the pictures show. Great location the house was clean and well kept. Jeffrey was available to address any concern or question we had during our stay. We enjoyed our vacation so much we extended our rental and Jeffrey made that process smooth and easy!
