Gardens and pool area are beautiful. A very short walk to the beach if that's desired. Staff friendly. My room, although clean, was very shabby, but it had everything I needed. I would stay again.

First this is not the beach front resort, it is a motel. The photo here deceived me, the white house in the front of beach is private property. The door which allows access to beach was locked, no to access beach one has to walk around.

We enjoyed our stay at Oceans Beach Resort! We looked at a lot of hotels in Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding area and this was one of the few that offered free parking! The location is great, just a block from stores/restaurants and the BEST ice cream place, and then maybe a 10 minute walk to the pier and more stores/restaurants. The staff was friendly. The rooms are slightly dated but they look just as pictured. The room was clean and housekeeping visited daily. The beach is far less busy in this location than near the pier. We would definitely tag here again!

This place is misrepresented, it says is a hotel resort, it a rundown motel, I got there and when I saw it and check out the room, I immediately left. The Manager is horrible and no customer service! I requested the cancel it but I couldn't so my recommendation is to run away from this place! Expedia should really look into agreeing to misrepresent locations they are advertising on their website! The most horrible place I have ever seen in South Florida!

We had to be moved from our original room because the lock broke on the door. The new room was spacious and clean. The resort is older but the staff were great and very helpful. It’s in a great location for walking to the beach (1 min away) and restaurants (5 min walk).

We are so sorry you did not enjoy your stay at our hotel. We do use bleach for cleaning bathrooms and room floor tiles. Your room was in front of a very big tiki , with an Olympic size pool view. The beach is 25 steps from your room. All the restaurants are within walking distance from your room , Yes you may have found the back garden area dimly lit as we have to maintain low lighting due to turtle nesting ground directly on the beach behind our pool. You stayed 2 days with us , if you did not like your room, and notified front office we would of have gladly moved to another room, more to your liking.

We feel that it is not to fair to target the hotel and say we are bad, considering you were no show. You made a private reservation and agreed to a huge discount with them and did a a non refundable booking. This is between you and your booking agent, and nothing to do with the hotel

Great stay!
The check in was very easy and Florence was very helpful. It’s a great location so close to the beach. Nice room with a big bathroom. Everything was clean. Nice that there is a fridge and coffee maker in the room. Walkable distance to some good restaurants. Will definitely go again!

Arrived early and our room was available. We were able to check in. Turned AC down because room had direct sun so it was too warm for us. After we enjoyed some time outside and went back, room was still too warm for our liking. Unfortunately hotel service did not have a fan but they very graciously offered us a different room. Once we turned the air down to our liking everything was perfect. This is a great little mom and pop hotel. The owners were very friendly, the one house keeper we spoke with was super nice and the older lady who worked in the front office was also super nice. We would definitely use this hotel again It is an older motel, but the grounds are amazing. One short block from the beach, a few short blocks from the pier and dining. The pool water felt amazing. Lots of island feel to the outside. The only thing missing was some island music playing and a bar. Remedy that yourself by bringing a small speaker for music and purchasing alcohol before you arrive and you are all set.

noisy but who cares? if you don't need A/C don't turn it on, room neighbors. and hotel staff as well, don't let running A/C all day in my room while I'm out!
