Segway tours are also available along "Broadwalk". South Beach and Miami are a short drive from our complex. Named one of the best beach footbridges in the United States by Travel + Leisure Magazine, the "Broadwalk" paved with bricks, as the locals affectionately call it, has two and a half miles of bars, restaurants, boutiques, and shops. With a small-town feel, Hollywood Beach is full of bars and restaurants that cannot be found anywhere else. For a truly local experience, you can't go wrong with The Le Tub Saloon, GG's Waterfront Grill, El Tayta and Taverna Opa. Getting Around: ● From Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL): There are 7.72 miles between FLL and Hollywood Beach. ● From Miami International Airport (MIA): Hollywood Beach is 23.8 miles away from MIA. In both cases, you can either take an Uber or rent a car at the Airport. Other Things to Note: ●Registration fee: $50 (one time only). ●Parking is not included in the listing. No car needed but if you need a parking space: You can either park your car at the condo for $42 a day or you can issue a public parking pass for the whole month for only $110 plus taxes. However, when a guest checks in, the system authorizes the card for the registration fee, resort fee and security deposit. After a couple days the security deposit is returned. The front desk is limited in what they can do because of separate management and cleaning company. We contacted management by email (no phone number was ever provided). We got a call back to say the room was being cleaned and they’d let us know when it was ready. We never received a call back. When we returned it was ready but obviously it was not extensively cleaned but was acceptable enough. The room is very barren. It meets the basics but could use some sprucing up to have a more welcoming atmosphere. There were no wash cloths or dish towels provided and no extra blankets for the beds. The refrigerator was small for the size of room and number of people. The living room area has 2 great windows but one side had a bolted shade so it could not be opened to let the light in. The master bedroom has a nice little balcony but that window shade was broken and could not be opened either leaving the room dark. That all being said, this place has so much potential. Adding some decor, providing more necessities and fixing some of the maintenance issues would help to make it more comfortable. The staff at the front desk and valet were helpful and friendly. The location is great being so close to the boardwalk and restaurants. The rooftop pool area is great and once the bar/grill is open it will increase the attraction especially for sunsets.
