Beautiful condo in the heart of Fort Lauderdale

A beautiful stay and location. The residences at the W are beautiful with all the amenities they offer. The hosts were gracious, promptly communicated, and helped facilitate my last-minute booking, as well as a later check-out. The whole experience was beyond accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities, communication
Honestly, an overall terrible stay. Front desk staff was on the phone handling personal business when we checked in and left us waiting for 15 minutes. Out of the 3 elevators, only 1 worked. Spent half the vacation just waiting for the elevator. Staff was also using that one elevator to transport housecleaning supplies the whole time so even when the elevator finally got to our floor after waiting 20 minutes it was full. The room itself was in terrible condition. Not only did the shower barely work, there were actual cockroaches running around in the bathroom and kitchen. Literally horrifying. As a former staff member at the W hotel in Boston, I know this would never stand and they will be horrified to find out this was our experience here. The W is supposed to be a high end hotel and provide exceptional service, this was the worst hotel stay I’ve had in my life.
