In our room the was not any microwave oven, as we expected from the photos (and we needed it to warm some milk for the kids). The fridge was quite noisy and kept awaken us during the night. Everything else was ok. And one night there was a floating procession of Witches in kayaks floating through the Harbor for Halloween!! I would suggest that the property take new pictures of the section of rooms over the Harbor maybe using a drone because the current picture doesn’t do the location of the rooms justice. You really can’t tell how great their location is!! Also, sorry but you need a better chef at Silvers. We’re from San Francisco and we’re looking forward to great seafood. But we’re very disappointed in the quality of the food at Silvers. Otherwise we LOVED staying at Anchor Lodge!! The room was very clean just not a lot of room especially the bathroom ! There wasn’t any shampoo in the shower ! The beds were very comfortable ! There should have been an extra nightstand by the beds ! The rooms are clean, online check in is easy and fast, they have codes for the rooms, so no need to go in and register. Staying in a working Harbor is exciting. Watching boats go in and out, the fog horn in the background, everything you need right there within walking distance! Lovely view of the sunset. Not to noisy considering the restaurant above the room. Would definitely come back.
