Escape to our cozy, remodeled cabin nestled among towering redwoods along the Russian River. This is the perfect retreat to get away from it all while staying close to the best of wine country. The heart of the home is the huge, multi-level deck with redwoods growing right through it. It’s your private oasis for relaxation and connection, featuring: \* A 6-person hot tub for soaking under the stars \* A gas fire pit with Adirondack chairs \* A comfortable hammock for lazy afternoons \* A BBQ grill and outdoor dining set for memorable meals under the redwoods Inside, warm wood finishes, a brick fireplace, and a skylit dining area create an inviting atmosphere. The living room includes a pull-out sofa, perfect for movie nights with the included Cable TV. The gourmet kitchen is newly remodeled and fully stocked with everything you need to cook a Thanksgiving dinner, including modern electric appliances and a dishwasher. The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests across two bedrooms and a living room pull-out: \* Master Bedroom: Queen-sized bed and a trundle day bed (best for kids). \* Second Bedroom: Queen-sized bed. The home includes two beautifully remodeled bathrooms. We provide strong, reliable internet (150 Mbs) with a mesh router that ensures you stay connected even on the far ends of the deck, making it an ideal space for remote work. Things to note: Owner's Unit: There is a small, private owner's unit on site below the house with a completely separate entrance. It may be occupied at the owner's will but will not intrude upon your experience or privacy. Only used 1 or two weekends a year during the summer. No Central AC: The cabin does not have central air conditioning. The coastal climate typically brings cool nights, and we provide fans for your comfort during warmer days. Security Camera: For your security, a Nest Cam is installed and covers the parking area only. There are no cameras inside the home or on the private deck areas. Cancellation Policy for External Events: In the event that circumstances beyond our control (such as fire or pandemic-related government orders) prevent us from hosting your stay, our policy is as follows: If the cancellation is outside the standard window, we will refund half of your stay plus the cleaning fee. The other half will be held as a credit for a future stay of your choice, subject to availability. Hot tub was very nice. Other than that, the neighborhood was very junkie, a bit isolated, and there were never any instructions on how to walk down to the river, even though it was described in the listing comments. Upon entering, there was a definite dog smell, and in my opinion, carpeting is never a good option when you have a dog friendly property.. could use a good deep cleaning and reorganization of the kitchen and replacement of some linens/towels. .There were a ton of rules, the washer and dryer situation outside were not desirable but it was nice that they did provide laundry amenities. ##### Daniel G. Beautiful kitchen that has most everything you’ll need, toaster/counter top oven in addition to a nice range. Coffee maker, hot water kettle. Nice refrigerator with ice maker! Beautiful views and the light in the place is great.Incredibly comfortable beds, nice size bathrooms. Another deck on the backside between the bedrooms.Cable tv, wifi and a great electric started gas fireplace. We prefer uniquely different properties for our vacations and this "Upscale Vintage Cabin" fit us perfectly. The cabin size was ideal for our group of 4 with two full bathrooms - a big selling point if your traveling with non-family vacationers. But the best feature is the amazing outdoor space with a deck that was built around the majestic redwoods on the property. A wonderful place to relax after a day of adventures. ##### David J. We found this beautiful location about one mile from their place, great find. It also happened to overlap w/ our 23rd wedding anniversary & the owners were gracious enough to leave us a bottle of local bubbly in the fridge for us to toast & enjoy. Great home, super cozy & a beautiful location. Going forward we are going to base our trips to visit Forestville based on the availability of this home.
