Restored and furnished with care, it combines charm and comfort It includes a flowered garden and a large field partially planted with olive trees with a view of the rock overlooking the village. Private entrance on a small street in the village. Vaulted rooms with thick walls which guarantee freshness and give the character typical of the villages of the Gard scrubland. Heated swimming pool with counter-current swimming, closed by pocket windows and therefore secure for children. Field with swing, games and pétanque area. Access to vehicles via a large gate for unloading luggage. The large living room overlooks a garden with trees and a summer terrace with teak table, barbecue, hammock. It has 2 sofas, including a two-seat BZ convertible. Television and small library. The dining room with fireplace overlooks a small semi-covered courtyard where a table allows you to have breakfast in the morning sun. First bedroom with a double bed and a single bed overlooking the living room. Second bedroom with a double bed and an old fashioned wrought iron child's bed. Small independent fitted kitchen (dishwasher, gas and electric hob, small fridge, coffee maker, toaster, microwave). Laundry room with large fridge freezer, iron and ironing board. Helpful owner (Yves Yard) The cottage has 2 bedrooms and large lounge, diner with a cosy wood burnt fireplace, 2 shower rooms. The owners live above but the walls are thick so there’s no noise to disturb each other. The cottage is well equipped in the kitchen, bathroom towels and bedding. It has almost everything you might need. There’s a small heated indoor pool which was very useful for little kids. The grounds are huge so kids can run around too. There’s a gate with remote control going into the property. The village is small but has a cafe just opposite the road. There’s a small grocery but it’s VERY expensive there. You need to stock up for food essentials at supermarket, 15 mins away by car. The owner Yves is lovely and helpful, showing us where everything were and how things work. Otherwise they left us in peace throughout the stay. The only small problem was very weak internet and phone signal. You have to go outside the house to make a phone call and the router in the cottage almost never has signal. However this is good if you are looking for a rest from the outside world! Die Wohnung, der große Garten, der Pool, die Vermieter, die Lage - alles war einfach perfekt. Yves ist sehr nett und unglaublich bemüht, er hat uns jede Menge Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants etc. gegeben und uns sogar Sessel und einen Sonnenschirm für den Cèze-Strand ausgeliehen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und geräumig. Da es sich um einen früheren Schafstall (mit tollen alten Gewölben) handelt, haben einige Räume (z.B. das Elternschlafzimmer) kein Fenster, so dass es auch bei der Hitze im August angenehm kühl blieb. Die Ferienwohnung bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und ist außerordentlich komfortabel und hervorragend ausgestattet. Der Garten bzw. Park bieten vielfältige Möglichkeiten es genussvollen Entspannens und der Pool im eignen Häuschen ist ein super Pluspunkt. Fons sur Lussan ist ein uriger, typischer Ort für die Provence mit einer Epicerie, die ein wirklich erstaunlich gutes Sortiment zu bieten hatte. Wir haben uns dort gut versorgen können. Auch das kleine Restaurant direkt gegenüber der Ferienwohnung ist absolut nicht störend, sondern war ein willkommenes Plus. Besonders angenehm wurde uns der Aufenthalt aber letztendlich durch die leidenschaftlichen Gastgeber Christine und Yves gemacht. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement gentils et attentionnés. Fons est bien situé entre "nature" et "culture", à la fois village isolé et authentique, mais aussi animé et doté d'une épicerie exceptionnelle ! Le jardin est également très bien aménagé et agréable. La grotte de la Salamandre vaut la visite, ainsi que la plage du Roy située un peu plus loin, et d'autres plans d'eau environnants sur la Cèze. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Yves spricht sehr gutes Englisch und hat viele Tipps, was man in der Umgebung schönes machen kann. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und versprüht sehr viel ursprünglichen Charme. Das Grundstück ist schön und weitläufig. Der separate, überdachte Pool ist super, um sich auch an heißen Tagen abzukühlen. Yves war für alle Fragen erreichbar und offen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und empfehlen es gern weiter. Sehr gut war auch der kleine Lebensmittelladen im Ort, der liebevoll geführt wird und alles hat, um wie die Franzosen zu essen/leben. Und wir hatten auch das Glück die Musikabende im nahegelegenen Restaurant zu erleben. Die tolle Musik und die Lebensfreude der Franzosen zu erleben hat unseren Aufenthalt hier noch schöner gemacht. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und erholsame Zeit! Vielen Dank an Yves für den herzlichen Empfang und die Hilfsbereitschaft! Die Wohnung ist großzügig und liebevoll renoviert. Das Gelände ist sehr gepflegt und eine absolute Ruheoase. Der Pool war auch im April super für die Kinder. Die Lage des Ortes ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen. Wenn man mal nichts unternehmen möchte bietet der gut sortierte Dorfladen alles was man benötigt, ein Restaurant ist direkt gegenüber. ##### Elisabeth B. Avant même l’entrée dans les lieux les propriétaires étaient très arrangeants et il en a été de même sur place. La maison a beaucoup de cachet et est assez fonctionnelle. La véranda avec la piscine chauffée a ravi notre séjour ainsi que le barbecue et la cheminée ! Toute la documentation était à disposition pour visiter les alentours et les propriétaires ne manquent pas de bons conseils. La maison est bien fournie en vaisselle et serviettes de toilettes et est bien insonorisée. Malgré la situation sanitaire les propriétaires ont été très accueillants et nous laissent un super souvenir de cet endroit. Merci à eux ! ##### Maud P. Le lieu est magnifique au calme dans un village très agréable . la piscine chauffée a été particulièrement appréciée et le gite est spacieux, confortable et meublé avec goût !. La cuisine est bien équipée, la literie est nickel. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine est un vrai plus, top pour les ados ! L'immense jardin et les oliviers permettent de se reposer, les yeux sur un paysage magnifique. Et la nuit, on observe les étoiles, la voie lactée, les étoiles filantes. Les propriétaires sont discrets, généreux et ont plein d'astuces pour visiter la région. Le restaurant la Goulade qui est à deux pas, est délicieux et permet de profiter de soirées musicales à ciel ouvert de pro ! L'épicerie à proximité est top : hyper bien achalandée. Il y 15 nationalités dans ce village de 260 habitants vraiment pas comme les autres. N'hésitez pas à venir vous poser pour vous reposer. Jul 12, 2019 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Une pépite entre pierres et garrigues Notre séjour a été parfait: nous avons été reçus chaleureusement par Yves et Christiane qui nous ont tout de suite recommandé plusieurs destinations et activités à découvrir dans la région. Nous avons passés 4 jours à profiter du jardin, de la piscine, du cadre idyllique du village et des environs d'Uzès. Le mas dans lequel nous logions était plein de charme et très bien équipé, avec notamment une terrasse donnant sur le jardin et d'une petite terrasse privative. Enfin, il serait difficile de ne pas mentionner "La Goulade", petite guinguette locale en face du mas, où nous avons passé une soirée à danser la bossa nova avec les habitants du village. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour parcourir la région et pour échanger avec Yves et Christiane. ##### Lea B. Stayed 3 nights in Jul 2019 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Philippe U., 54200 TOUL Apr 15, 2019 #### Location idéalement située et agréable piscine Couple avec 3 enfants (entre 3 et 9 ans), nous avons beaucoup apprécié la région (randonnées aux Concluses, cascades de la Roque sur Cèze, ruine du château d'Allègre et chapelle Saint Saturnin, ainsi que les grottes de la Cocalière et Chauvet 2). La location est agréable, la piscine couverte et chauffée à 29 degrés (toute l'année) est un réelle plus pour se détendre ou finir de fatiguer les enfants en fin de journée. Un grand merci aussi pour votre accueil et la beauté du cadre. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir à l'occasion. ##### Philippe U.
