All bedrooms face the ocean, so each guest enjoys a spectacular ocean view and the ocean's lullaby in the evening. Direct access to the beach means you'll be on the sand in no time. Families and groups of friends will love hanging out together in this home, decorated in calming coastal blues and whites with the occasional punch of teal (check out the stairs!). Gather around the farmhouse table in the dining area that comfortably seats 10 to 12 people and plan your next adventure, host a game night, or share a meal. A fully stocked kitchen and ample breakfast bar will make mealtime as easy as the ocean breeze and an outdoor-charcoal-grill is also available for more casual meals. Hang out together in the super-plush living room, set up with plenty of comfortable seating and enough fish art to please any seashore fan. There's also a terrific view of the ocean and outside deck, thanks to the eight-foot windows built to bring in natural light. Central air conditioning will make sure the heat doesn't sneak in from outside. Head out onto the wide deck to grill up your catch, recline on the Adirondack chairs, or play a game of cards in the covered, screened-in porch. Did we mention that there's also direct beach access via a built-in deck? Because there absolutely is. Comfort awaits you at day's end as each bedroom and bath offers an oasis of its own. The first bedroom lies just to the left as you come through the front door (just past the octopus-themed bathroom). This first bedroom features a king bed, a big-screen TV, and a private entrance to a comfortable furnished screened-in patio that connects to the main deck. This main bedroom is right across the hall from a lovely full bathroom that features double sinks, wall-to-wall tile flooring, tile wall accents, a garden tub, and a handheld showerhead. Head upstairs (while taking an obligatory peek through the window on the landing) and head to the right to reach the second bedroom. This room features one twin bed, one double bed, a private furnished deck, TV, and an en suite bathroom with a standalone shower. The loft on this floor features a twin-size daybed with a twin trundle bed in case you need an extra sleeping spot. There's also a desk workspace, perfect for if someone needs to complete remote work or school (don't worry, there's a curtain you can draw for privacy). The final bedroom is at the end of the of the overlook. This room features a twin-over-twin bunk bed set, a double bed, a big-screen TV, and a lovely private furnished deck. The bathroom is just next door, which features hardwood-style flooring, a standalone shower with a glass partition, and bead board-style wood paneling, perfect for helping little ones find their way in the dark. Go into the Folly Beach downtown area, just 8 blocks away, to wander through local shops, markets (seasonal & holidays), listen to live entertainment, and eat at one of our local restaurants. All restaurants and shops are open year-round. Get out on the water to take a fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, or dolphin watching tour from a licensed guide. Surfing lessons are available through several companies and instructors. Find the local and tourist favorite, the Morris Island Lighthouse beach at the far east end of the island for wow-worthy photos! Just a short, 25-minute drive will have you to historical, downtown Charleston to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer. Here you will experience world-class dining, swanky boutiques, souvenir shopping along The Market, harbor views from The Battery and Waterfront Park, theater, comedy clubs, museums, grand churches, history, carriage and ghost tours, plus so much more. Customize your memorable trip to this historical city. Take the kids to the Children's Museum and the South Carolina Aquarium. Immerse yourself and the family in the Southern culture. There is parking for 4 vehicles in the driveway area. Additional vehicles must find off-street parking where available and follow the City of Folly Beach rules. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly. Check-in is at 4:00pm and check out is at 10:00am. Amenities include full size washing machine and dryer, modern kitchen appliances, central heat and air conditioning, free WIFI, $250 beach gear credit, keyless entry, linens, towel sets, charcoal grill, outdoor shower, and TVs. Séjour de 7 nuits en mars 2024 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Bobby T. 5 sept. 2023 #### Torn Screens and Broke AC Upon arrival immediately noticed all the screens on the multiple porch areas were torn. Property blamed passing Hurricane for damages however no other property in the same stretch displayed any similar damage. AC unit did not function correctly the entire stay, and seemed to completely stop working the evening before our departure. ##### Bobby T. Incredible non-stop views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Family room and kitchen excellent for family gatherings. Bedrooms, sleeping spaces, and bathrooms set up very nicely for comfort and flexibility. Loved being able to have short walk from the back porch to the ocean for a swim or corn hole game, and then easily return to relax and soak in the sun with the family on the 3 different porches. ##### Bill L.
