"Nice hotel close to Duval Street and Mallory Sq"
The hotel was nice and the location was awesome. However, the mattress was worn. It actually had a divet on the left side (if facing the TV). Where our room was located it was noisy - trucks, machines. The bathroom sink was also slow to drain. I did not expect that at a Hyatt and not for what we paid.

"Laid back Oceanside of the keys"
My wife and I stayed at pelican cove on a recent 4day trip to islamorada. It was exactly what we were looking for we had a king suite with an ocean view. The building is made in a stair step design that allows for every room to have a private balcony. The room was nice and had recent upgrades. What they did lack was furniture. Our room had the bed, a couch, and a dresser. No end tables or bedside tables. The phone was sitting on the floor next to the couch. That struck me as a bit tacky. But everything was clean and the resort facilities and beach care were great. There is a poolside/beech side bar that is open until 10. They had a small menu but we never had food there. The resort also has kayaks, paddle boards, and other beach toys. There is a marina next door that advertises snorkeling and fishing charters. And Shulas restaurant is also next door. I will definitely go back.
