Needs Attention

Posted 22-Jul-2016
Pros: location, waterfront
Cons: cleanliness, housekeeping, maintenance
Location: excellent restaurants, fishing
We have stayed here several times and have noticed deteriorating maintenance. The shower has mildew and mold, it took us 3 calls and 45 minutes to get towels, and the bed squeaked every time one sat or rolled over. The floor was so dirty that if you went barefoot and got in the shower, it created a mud puddle. Location is perfect. Restaurant overpriced and many better in the area. Too bad - hate to see it go downhill.

NOT a VIP hotel

Posted 18-Jul-2016
This hotel is listed as a VIP resort. The lobby was remodeled beautifully, but that's all that will feel luxurious. Our room was dirty, specifically the bathroom ( door was broken) and small. Horrible service by the pool. We had to leave for lunch as our son was starving and we wanted drinks! The server Hannah completely ignored us, and it was NOT busy. By the way, the hotel is on the beach, with NO beach access. We tried breakfast the next day before leaving. The mascarpone on my pancakes was bad. My fiancé is a private chef in Miami and could tell instantly by the smell. Unfortunately I had already taken one bite and had a sour stomach all day. This place is a waste of money.

Nice hotel friendly staff

Posted 13-Jul-2016
Pros: Staff is friendly and helpfull
Cons: The WiFi does not work properly
Location: Lazy Days restaurant has very good seafood, it is very close, the hotel has a shuttle bus to drop and pick you up
This hotel is for relax time but there is not much to do in this area, we went to snorkeling to John Pennekamp coral reef state park which is in Key Largo and it is a good experience.

Quiet, Prertty Hotel on Beach

Posted 3-Jul-2016
We enjoyed hook g back and forth between the beach and pool and stopping at the tiki bar in between! It was great having the dive shop right next door for snorkeling and water sports. Great location to great, fun restaurants on the water.

Posted 1-Jul-2016
Pros: Everything
Cons: Breakfast included. No resort fees.
Location: Lots to do, great restaurants on the water, swim with dolphins, sea lion, etc... Giant bass pro shop, lovely little shops, funky restaurants.....
Georgeous hotel - newly renovated- really nice beach for the keys, lots of lounge chairs, hammocks, palm trees for shade, nice pool and tiki hut, beautiful rooms, lovely gift shop, can rent kyacks and other water sports. No breakfast included but coffee maker and little fridge in room, no complaints, it was perfect...

Recently updated hotel, with okay amenities.

Stay away from room #319! I would advise anyone booking a room to refuse to sleep there. It smelled like a concentrated concoction of Urine & Chlorine was used to wipe down the walls and floors. I'm still shocked hotel management would feel comfortable allowing a guest to stay there. However, once I was moved the next day to Another room on the same floor I began to see/smell the better qualities of the hotel. My new identical room smelled like fresh flowers and crisp linens. There was no mold in the bathroom. The fabric in the room felt clean & dry (unlike #319). The bed was super comfy. A+ on #321 / F- on #319

I highly recommend it with 1 disappointment.

Posted 18-Jun-2016
My family and I enjoyed our stay. Being there for a little over a week we found that the staff got to know our habits and our favorite things. We felt like it was home it was great! Should be a 5 star. The only disappointment we had was that there was no Bible in our room.
