Upscale for the keys
We enjoyed our stay at Amara Cay for the four nights we booked. As in most cases there is only a man made beach - which is fine. The property was a bit more expensive than we like to pay in the keys, but options were limited because we booked late. The food was expensive, and the quality was modest at best. Our room was huge, and very comfortable.
A bit sterile, but still nice. Th location is excellent for exploring the keys.
The staff was very nice and accommodating. We were booked in an accessible room and that was just not a good room - barren and just unpleasing. So we requested a change and within 24 hours they did move us and we liked that one jut fine.
Don't think I will stay there again, however I would recommend it for location.
