I rate this property 10 out of 10 for what it is. But people may dislike it for what it isn’t. It’s a jungle lodge. It’s in the jungle. If you don’t want to be awakened by howler monkeys at 5am, don’t stay here. If you want A/C or consistent electricity, don’t stay here. If you want WiFi in your room, don’t stay here. But if you want to stay in a clean, well kept property in the middle of the jungle with an attentive staff and great food that’s only steps away from one of the greatest Mayan cities of all time, stay here! It’s amazing!

Beautiful property. No AC due to limited electricity, so it gets hot. Hotel is in the jungle so you can expect scorpions and bugs at night.

We really liked staying at Jungle Lodge. The grounds, lobby, pool and room were all wonderful. It was nice to have easy access to a restaurant. The convenience and walkability to Tikal National Park was amazing and I’d stay here again if I were to come back. We enjoyed our Tikal tours and then lounging by the pool with a beer.

Right in the middle of the national park. It’s a beautiful setting. You can see monkeys (and hear them at night) and are lulled by the songs of birds. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We took a guided tour of Tikal with one of their guides, Reuben, and he was the best.

I was thrilled with my experience at the Jungle Lodge Hotel! The jungle setting was so beautiful and peaceful, and the hotel landscaping and property were immaculate. The service was top notch and we enjoyed the food in the restaurant. We would absolutely stay again.

The surrounding area was beautiful, and the hotel itself was laid out perfectly however the amenities were sub-par and the food was not good at all. Also the service was very slow and staff not attentive.

The property was perfect for being in the park. Would highly recommend if you are visiting the ruins. Staff was lovely, room was clean and comfortable. You have to be ready for on and off power, no tv but relaxing and no WiFi in the rooms. The WiFi in the lodge itself was great.
