This hotel ruined my experience in Florence for several reasons:
1- staff was polite but management was not customer centric, refusing to address major problems
2- hotel lobby , pool, restaurant and room had worn out, cheap looking old furnishings. You are in a beautiful region in Italy but feels like you are in a bad airport hotel
3- food was awful, you find good food in Italy everywhere except at this location. Breakfast had old fruits, pastries
4- pool looks cheap and old, same depth everywhere, very deep even for adults. Pool was always crowded and there were kids wearing no swimsuits, peeing on glass cups and on the pool. Just offensive and unsanitary
5- room keys stopped working after first day and we had to walk from our room outside main building all the way to reception several times on second day under scorching 100 sun to get new keys. Happened at least 4 times in a. Day
6- on the first day I realized there was no way I was going to stay there for 2 nights, Expedia agreed to cancel my second night at no charge however the hotel management refused to let me leave without paying in full for a room that I would t be using
In summary, in you want a low end, low class, bad service experience, this is the place for you.
