Amazing villa outside of the downtown core of Florence. My partner and I came to Italy to elope in the hills of Tuscany, and staying at the Villa Olmi was beyond perfect. The rooms were stunning, the staff were wonderful, and the quieter location was exactly what we needed after a busy trip across Europe. We will always have fond memories of the Villa Olmi and will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Florence!

Charming hotel property in Firenze. Recommended to us by friends that had stayed at the property before, we were equally pleased by our visit. The hotel provided a nice respite from the crowds of city center. We dined in the restaurant one evening and the food was superb and the staff was very attentive without being overbearing. We would not hesitate to stay a Villa Olmi again.

Amazing property with lovely features! feels like royal living in a true palace! everything is WOW! This is our fifth stay at this property and it gets more charmer every time! Welcome at reception was great and made us feel like home! Kids enjoyed like anything! We will certainly be back!

The hotel is lovely. Very clean and quiet. We are finding that in Italy there are not many handicap rooms or parking spaces. Our room is extremely small. We needed a shower without a bathtub for my husband.

The property was wonderful, a joy to explore. Most of the staff proved excellent and eager to accommodate our needs. The property is far enough away from the busy downtown Florence area to be quiet & peaceful. The staff helped us set up taxis when needed or, of course, sign us up for the hotel's shuttle bus that runs three times a day to the city center. All-in-all, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Perfect
Absolutely refreshing and perfect. It was a beautiful relaxing place. It was magical. Everything was beyond my expectations. The reception area and the lobby was lije a fancy museum. The staff perfect especially Anabella. The room was perfect. Bathroom had a jacuzzi. The griunds full of olive trees. The mornings beautiful. Oh loved it.

This was a 10/10 hotel experience. The property and grounds are beautiful and peaceful, the staff is incredibly helpful and the restaurant on site was fantastic! Would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay for a relaxing trip away from Florence
Had a great two night stay at this Hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of Florence. The pool was a perfect temperature, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the local area had a good range of very local restaurants for dinner / places to get coffee or breakfast in the mornings! When we arrived we were told our room had been upgraded for free, so we luckily got a small outdoor area to enjoy the sun. The bed was comfy and facilities were good. The only negative is that the air conditioning system in our room (not sure if it is the same for others) was extremely loud.

This hotel ruined my experience in Florence for several reasons: 1- staff was polite but management was not customer centric, refusing to address major problems 2- hotel lobby , pool, restaurant and room had worn out, cheap looking old furnishings. You are in a beautiful region in Italy but feels like you are in a bad airport hotel 3- food was awful, you find good food in Italy everywhere except at this location. Breakfast had old fruits, pastries 4- pool looks cheap and old, same depth everywhere, very deep even for adults. Pool was always crowded and there were kids wearing no swimsuits, peeing on glass cups and on the pool. Just offensive and unsanitary 5- room keys stopped working after first day and we had to walk from our room outside main building all the way to reception several times on second day under scorching 100 sun to get new keys. Happened at least 4 times in a. Day 6- on the first day I realized there was no way I was going to stay there for 2 nights, Expedia agreed to cancel my second night at no charge however the hotel management refused to let me leave without paying in full for a room that I would t be using In summary, in you want a low end, low class, bad service experience, this is the place for you.

Our hotel is a restoration of ancient autentique and prestigious Villa with high quality furniture that recounts the original history of this ancient property. In reference to your stay, after your check in time in our Colonica, with free upgrade in Junior Suite with private garden, you have informed us that you didn't want to stay in our hotel. We have proposed you to change the room and we showed you other room categories, and our historical villa, in one of our prestigious high level room, but you didn't accept. We have tried to give you other possibilities in order to improve your first day and we have assisted you in all the Concierge requests, even if all of them have been suddenly cancelled. You would like only to leave immediateley the hotel without any penalty application.We would like to assurre you that our staff double check the swimming pool everyday and it's only 1,5 metres height.

Magnificent. 5 star property. Beautiful suite. I have traveled extensively and the Villa Olmni Firenze is the prettiest property I’ve stayed at. The room and grounds are so nice you just want to stay there, who needs shopping and sightseeing? The staff is so accommodating, have them set up a table in the shade on the grounds and enjoy a fabulous meal with your friends and family. Bring them all you will want to share the beautiful surroundings with all. Wonderful to be right outside the hustle and bustle of Florence. Easy to get there from the train station. Excellent on site restaurant. Worth a trip to Florence to stay at the Villa, I hope I get to return many times!

Beautiful villa and gardens, super dog friendly
This was our favorite stay in Italy, the gardens and the villa were beautiful. Our room was quite spacious with our own private garden. About a 15 minute drive to central Florence so it was nice to be away from the craziness. I was impressed by how dog friendly they were, my dog felt right at home running in the gardens. Staff were all very nice too.

Real Tuscan Villa just 4km from city center! Staying at Villa Olmi was an experience of a lifetime. The property is an actual villa and you feel like you have traveled through time when you enter the gate. Every detail is absolutely perfect about this spacious property. The restaurant is exquisite and the staff are extremely helpful and professional. The rooms are beautiful, filled with antique furniture, the washrooms are moderm and elegant and sleeping under the antque wooden beams is a dream. The shuttle takes you in to town just 4km away.

Everything was very nice and the staff extremely helpful. A minor niggle was the quality of the orange juice at breakfast which was not nice. Otherwise fully recommended for a stay near Florence.
