It is a quiet and bright flat, and the location and the age of the building give you a charming atmosphere with very high standards. The apartment (40sqm) has one bedroom and one bathroom and it can accomodate 4 people. As you enter, you will find: the living room with a pull out sofa (160 cm), the dining area, the fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a bedroom. It was very stylish, clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The location was amazing. You are pretty much in the duomo piazza as soon as you walk out the door. The entire building was opulent and well maintained. The view from the terrace was spectacular. It would be great if the building manager would put some high stools along the terrace wall to sit and enjoy the views, but that is completely external from this rental. And it’s just fine to lean along the wall and gaze at the amazing views of the duomo all lit up at night. Luca was an amazing host and made the whole process almost frictionless. You enter the building and go up 10 marble steps to the cutest lift that can easily accommodate two and all the luggage. You enter the apartment and are immediately stuck by how well they have created the space. High ceilings, big windows, and everything you will need for a lovely stay. The bedroom is large with two big windows and the most comfortable bed and lovely linens. The rooftop terrace has the most amazing views of the Duomo and the surrounding city and hills. Luca is friendly and quickly responds to any communication. He sends all the information you need for check-in a couple of days before your stay complete with step by step photos. The location is incomparable, just steps from the Duomo. Everything is within a 10 minute walk. We loved our stay here and will do it again when returning to Florence. ##### cindy p. The apartment was in a perfect location for our first visit to Florence. It’s located about a 2 minute walk from the Duomo and Cathedral so it couldn’t be better. We had trouble figuring out the AC system but the property manager Luca, was very responsive and immediately sent photos explaining how it worked. One of the remotes (the one I was trying) had dead batteries) so he fired Ted me to the other one and had the batteries replaced the next day. My only comment is that the apartment is quite small - so it would be tight for more than 2 people. However, it was a perfect base for us to explore Florence and walk around the entire city for our 4 day trip. One other convenient note - there is a taxi stand literally right in front of the building, so on our last morning there we wanted to get a cab to the train station and all we had to do was walk outside the building and one was there waiting! ##### Brian M. The location is absolutely perfect as it's quite central and easy to walk to everything. Very clean, and as it appears in the listing photo's. Initially the communication with the host was great, but then became unresponsive. The "knob" has been unscrewed and removed to operate the rain shower head, so you can only use a low hanging spray handle to shower. When I asked about this, I was sent a photo of a different shower unit completely with an explanation of how to use it, so when I sent the photo back of what was actually there, I received no response. My assumption is this is to reduce water use so guests don't take long showers, but it is very inconvenient for women trying to wash their hair.
