It's been added onto and remodeled over the years, and is now a spacious 1200 square foot house, that sleeps 8\. It's the last house on a short, dead end street in one of Heceta Beach's original neighborhoods. It has an ocean view and is only a 2 minute walk down a wooded trail that you access right from the front yard. Entering the front door, into the dining room-kitchen which has open beamed ceilings and a great view from the dining room table. There's a bar with chairs, for the kids to play games or do craft projects. The galley kitchen has an apartment sized electric range and dishwasher, and a frost free refrigerator and is well stocked with all the things you'll need for a family gathering. There is a bathroom with shower stall as well off the main area Off of both sides of this area, you'll find a sitting room, and then a bedroom. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds. The sitting rooms both have bi-fold doors, and both have full size fold flat sofas. The master bedroom has its own bath and a shower-tub combo and a 32 inch Roku TV. Off the back of the house is a large family room, a peek of a view and a door to the backyard, and deck. With the two overstuffed chairs, a large rocking chair, the sofa, the glider rocker, and a Large Roku TV, there's room for the whole family to gather and enjoy a movie. The home can accommodate a total of 8 people in the 4 separate sleeping areas. The home has 3 TVs, with Roku streaming internet TV players, telephone with unlimited nationwide long distance, stereo, high speed wi-fi and an apartment sized stack washer-dryer. Heceta Haven , has parking in front and in back so can accommodate smaller ATV & Boat Trailers. Enjoy the sound of the surf and watch blazing sunsets of orange & gold. For those of you who have visited us in the past. In December of 2014 we replaced the sofa-sleeper in the bonus room with a new fold flat sofa. In 2016 we replaced the range & refrigerator with new ones. November 2017 we purchased a made in Oregon Stanton Sofa for the family room, along with new pots & pans cooking utensils, lampshades, and bedding. In the spring of 2018 new carpet was installed in both bedrooms and new solid surface flooring was added in the rest of the house. Interior & exterior painting has been completed as well. A new dining room table was purchased which is comfortable and spacious. Master Bathroom renovation completed February 2020 Main bathroom renovation completed in Spring of 2022 Minimum age to rent: 25 Three TV's all with Roku Streaming Internet TV and Netflix high speed Wi-Fi 108 mbps Telephone with unlimited nationwide long distance - only Verizon Cell phones work at the house. The home was well stocked and generally clean. It is super private, on a dead end road. The beach access is way better than expected. Literally a minute walk right off the front porch, to a great spot. The septic was overflowing in the yard after just two children had a short shower and I did dishes. One of the back sheds is unlocked and absolutely disgusting inside. My children are outside, feral farm children... they found it and stayed away. My daughter in-law woke up to a strangers earring stuck to her back (so gross and if that doesn't say; they didn't clean I don't know what does). Couch was sagging/ broke so we could not comfortably enjoy front room area. The screen was coming off of the screen door. Hole in carpet covered up by chair. Dirt and trash items (actual dirt, very old ear plug, bottle cap etc.) found beside furniture also showing place was not cleaned. There was a big WET stain on the carpet in master bedroom. Main bathroom smelled terrible and they have the audacity to charge a cleaning fee!! You only have a very small peekaboo view of the ocean from inside the house. They advertised a Babbling Brook so I was very excited for my grandson to have this to enjoy(he is unable to get to the beach so this was a very big deal. I wanted him to be able to have fun just like everyone else) but THERE IS NO BABBLING BROOK.. I informed management co. of all of these issues, she was aware of most of the problems. She is a very nice lady but only seem to offer excuses. What should have been a very special weekend for our family was definitely diminished by this home and management service..
