1 hour waited infront of gate with no one to help
Dear Host,
I am writing to you to provide feedback on our recent stay at your property in Florence, from 25th Aug to 27th Aug.
Before our arrival, I had messaged you to confirm our check-in time would be between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was no one there to let us in, and we were unable to reach you by phone. We waited for over 45 minutes outside the building, and at that point, we were very stressed and concerned about the situation.
Eventually, we had to contact Hotels.com for assistance. They were able to get in touch with you, and a colleague was sent to let us into the apartment. While we appreciate that you sent someone to help, the delay was very frustrating and created a very unpleasant start to our trip.
Once inside, we found several issues that affected the quality of our stay:
Kitchen: The kitchen was not as clean as we would have expected. We also found that essential cooking items like oil were missing, along with some basic utensils.
Bathroom: The water was clogged in the bathroom sink, making it difficult to use. Additionally, the water in the shower was draining very slowly, causing it to pool while showering.
Overall, the combination of the check-in problem and the issues with the apartment itself made for a disappointing experience. I wanted to bring these matters to your attention so that they can be addressed for future guests.
