The Hotel room was modern, clean, newly decorated, and located very well (near Maria St Croce). The bathroom was comfortable and roomy. Only thing is that
the shower is very small so if you are very overweight you might not fit in the shower. This was not a problem for us.
In addition, the room was completely cleaned for us. New towels etc in the bathroom and the kitchette had all dishes, spoons, pots put away from the drainer.
The VERY VERY best thing about this Hotel was the completely fitted out kitchette. We went grocery shopping at a Farmer's market and also at a Standard Market. We bought all kinds of salad fixings, fruits, eggs, bread, pasta, cheese, olives, cold cuts, cookies... etc. We ate a full bodied breakfast (complemented by the bread basket, instant coffee, tea, sugar, milk that was provided). We often ate dinner at the Hotel and sometimes lunch, depending on our schedule.
So, what resulted was less eating out (fewer expenses, healthier eating, time to wind down). We also stayed in this Residence for a week, and that made this choice very confortable. We took day trips from Florence, so we got to see other locales in Italy besides Florence.
I was really pleased beyond my expectations. I had not expected such a nice room with a kitchenette and was thinking that we would have to compromise some comfort for the kitchenette. Nothing was further from the truth.
