Great Hotel to stay in Florence!
The receptionist greeted me with a big smile for when I arrived and even given me a free room upgrade which was so nice of them! I stayed for two nights. I left my toothpaste cap lying around and the housekeeping even help me to put the cap back on for when they made my room, which I think it was ever so considerate of them. The breakfast so so good. Love their creamy scrambled eggs that they had served! Dinner was ok. I would totally recommend staying at this hotel for whatever the reason visiting Florence and so near to the city centre by foot!

The nightly staff was unfriendly and unwilling to help me up their front stairs with my bag. The morning staff tried to make up for it when I checked out; however, the damage was done. The rooms need updating.

Highly recommended!!
This hotel was perfect! Staff was beyond helpful. We were touring for the first time in Florence for and Emily trip and needed a lot of guidance. They were courteous, professional, patient and friendly. We had 2 rooms and both were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast room had a large selection. It basically was our lunch and then we only needed dinner. Location was quiet and safe. Near the train and a small grocery store. We very much recommend staying here!

very disappointing hotel
shower facility in room 348 was abysmal, some one came and tried to fix but was not competent in resolving issues regarding damaged components. we where asked if we could wait until the next day leaving the property for the maintenance team, we obviously refused and requested the y offer us another room, this room was inadequate so we moved for a third time, in the room was a kettle for tea and coffee. no teabags ,only decaffeinated coffee, once tea and coffee was brought to the room I plugged the kettle into the socket which proceeded to go on fire!!!!!!! we advised reception who sent maintenance up the next day, I had to request a replacement kettle power point the roof top pool was so cold even though the temperature was 37 degrees outside, more like a deep paddling pool !!!!the concierge did not assist with our luggage and upon leaving the hotel one of our guests required the bathroom and proceed to look for the facilities in the main entrance and the concierge followed him and waited for him to return monitoring his movement by looking in the widow reflection until he returned so sad but true. hotel on the outskirts of the old town away from any attractions .

1. Location is good. This hotel is located about 20 minutes of walking form the main sight seeing places (example, Piazza della Signoria). 2. Price vs location - I think the price is high and just adding 20-50 dollars can get you a hotel with a breakfast in the center. 3. Cleanliness - good. 4. Facility - very basic but has the bar and breakfast. 5. Staff - is very nice.

The hotel is very good except for not having a decent coffe machine in the room and also the restaurant had very few choices to choose from the menu If they could improve these two things it would be wonderful!

Really nice rooftop swimming area with spectacular view of the city, although it is small and I don’t like that they allow sun beds to be reserved, as quite a lot of the time they sat empty, when they could have been used by waiting guests. Also you get a complimentary bottle of water in your room which should be replenished daily with housekeeping, of our 14 night 2 room stay both rooms only got 3 bottles in two weeks , even after I spoke to room service, also tried to bill us for breakfasts we never had…apart from these smaller gripes , the place was very nice.

This was our second time at this hotel, having enjoyed it very much on the last visit. The big plus is the rooftop pool, which is great for cooling off during the hot summer days. Rooms are modern and well decorated, bathrooms large with both a shower and a bath. If you are looking for something with character that is old and in the centre, this isn't it. But if you want modern and comfortable, and convenient, then this is a good choice. Locations is very good, right next to Porta el Prato tram stop, meaning you can get the tram from the airport easily, and also get into the city either by tram or bus. We also took a coach to Bologna, which means getting an easy 20 min tram journey to the coach station which is on the same tram line. Breakfast is very good and varied. Also, a big plus was that, as we had a very early flight, breakfast was available for us to self-serve at 3.30 in the morning! This is because a lot of air crews stay here, but usually the only option is a breakfast box. Was so good to have a nearly full breakfast at this time. Not sure if I will stay in Florence again, but if I do, I would probably stay here a third time!

Great location for a city break
Great location with very friendly staff. The roof top bar is definitely an added bonus and the pool is ideal for a bit of down time - just make sure you book a lounger with reception as it can be a busy. The rooms are very comfy with huge bathrooms, room service left it spotless everyday

Great Hotel with minor Caveats
Nice hotel on the outskirts of Florence. The hotel is easily accessible by car and the location seems like it would really shine if that's how you were traveling. We didn't and hence all the location really did was add an extra 10-15 minutes walking time to each excursion. Bus and tram are options if you're into that and can substantially reduce or eliminate the extra travel time. The location was definitely not a major problem but if staying in Florence again I would look at something further in the city (assuming I wasn't traveling by car). The breakfast was quite good and view from the roof terrace was amazing, although the terrace itself is a bit smaller than some of the pictures made it seem. Overall, if you have a car, want to avoid driving down a bunch of narrow European streets everytime you want to commute to a nearby city, this hotel is a good choice.

The hotel was really comfortable. Great location and comfort for the price. My only comment is that the hotel body wash was empty the entire time I stayed (5 days). I left the top off hoping it would be refilled but it never was.
