This a cute, clean, and comfortable little hotel on a hill off Old Town Florence. It’s easy to walk to Old Town’s shops and restaurants, but be aware the hotel driveway (the only way down) is VERY steep and long, and will provide a considerable challenge for older or out of shape people. The amenities are solidly basic (shampoo in fast food type packets, but that also reduces plastic waste) but no complaints otherwise. Beds were super comfy. Would stay there again.

Uniquely set on top of a hill just a short walk from the marina area, this place was a great find. Check in was smooth, room was clean, and nice and close to the historic downtown.

Cozy comfortable accommodations, with a lovely forest view. The rooms were very quiet and well furnished. Very kind and friendly staff, we reserved the budget room and they gave us a free upgrade to a larger one.

We’ve stayed here a few times over several years. It’s in a very convenient location and is clean. The beds aren’t always super comfortable but acceptable. The price is reasonable. The unit with a kitchen is great. (We really miss the old set up before Covid—no more kitchen and snack area for all to enjoy.)

We were happy to return to the Landmark. It is convenient to Old Town, and a nice quiet suite to stay in and relax at the end of the day. Staff here are always very friendly. It’s a wonderful small property tucked away on the hill overlooking the harbor.

Quaint and extremely comfortable boutique space. No extras (pool, spa, etc) but great views and clean modern spaces. Receptionist was a rude at check in, but not enough to detract from the room.

A beautiful small inn just off Hwy 1 here in Florence and just what we needed for one night. Staff was very helpful and had great recommendations for food and drink in the area. Property is very close to cute downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants. Cool place to hang out.

The Landmark Inn looks and feels like a home. My room…consisting of a bedroom area and a separate family room on opposite sides of the spotless bathroom…was spacious and well appointed. Really felt like a home. The front desk host was super welcoming and her greeting included the words, “…and we’ve upgraded your room…” I have a feeling ALL the rooms are superb. Excellent location: safe, secluded and serene. I’ll be back!

Cool little hideaway.
Mom was in the hospital and I need a room quick, clean, reasonably priced and close to the hospital. While it’s a little difficult to find being on top of a hill with no visible signage up a very steep driveway, once I figured it out it was very smooth. My check in was late and they left a lockbox on the door so I could easily enter and get some much needed rest. The “River View” was sort of a little water through some trees but all in all I would give it a solid 4 stars based on my expectations.

Rooms are small suites with an apartment like feel. Very tastefully furnished and comfortable. Friendly staff and reasonably priced to boot. This is the place we’ll stay when passing through Florence.

Close to Old Town Florence, just a 5 minute walk. Various dining options nearby, but hours open are limited. Breakfast places don’t open until 8am, and lunch time at most restaurants starts at 11 or 12 noon. Parking at the inn can be tricky if you are the last one in for the night. Friendly staff at the inn, tea and oatmeal available in the lobby. Nice place, we will stay there again!

Off season stay Dec 26
Our stay was off season. I imagine it way louder in the summer. Pros-Room was clean, quiet. View of river was nice. Livingroom roomy. Close to old town, also grocery stores and restaurants close by. Cons- extremely steep driveway about 30 ft long. Only 10 parking spots so if its full you have to park at the bottom of the hill and walk up. If there’sice good luck.Too soft a bed, like pillow soft so it bounces and you sink in. Blackout light in front room with bed, but the other large window only blinds so it defeats the purpose. Frig had left over cookies from previous guest but I just threw them out no biggie. Not always someone in office although it was unlocked, also the only way to get ice. Actually still use keys for the room. If you have valuables take them with, as its just a doorknob lock. Women there was an attic access panel on the ceiling just an fyi.

The only problem was finding the place after dark. It sits atop a hill with a long steep driveway. Their sign was obscured by vegetation and not illuminated. Otherwise nice people, well appointed suite and clean.

Room was very clean. Maybe a little dated, but overall a nice place. When I asked if there was coffee in the room, I was offered a coffeemaker. They brought it to me with 2 mugs (real mugs - not paper ones) along with real spoons and a couple candy mints. The glasses were real also (wrapped in plastic). I realize this is a small place (only 12 rooms) but you don't realize how impersonal the "chains" seem with everything being "disposable" until you stay at a place like this.. And it was very affordable with a separate area with a double recliner, fridge with freezer and large TV.
