The open floorplan boasts a sitting area with a wood-burning fireplace and a fireside desk for remote work or schooling, an adjacent sunlit living area with a sectional and a 75-inch TV, a dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, snacks, or mugs of hot tea or cocoa. There is even a Keurig coffee machine. Outside, enjoy unobstructed lake views from your furnished deck, get something sizzling on the gas grill, and dine together at the picnic table. The crown jewel, a six-person hot tub on the wind-protected deck overlooking the lake, invites ultimate relaxation. This home also features a private dock, a five-seat pedal boat, and two kayaks, so you can set out whenever you want for a paddle around the lake. This home is nestled alongside gorgeous Woahink Lake, which offers refreshing waters for summertime swimming and great kayaking and fishing opportunities. Within a few miles, you can access the sand dunes (well-loved by ATV riders and sandboarders), and beach access is a short drive away! Be sure to stop into Old Town Florence to browse the galleries, shop for souvenirs, or get some takeout from one of the local restaurants. The Siuslaw Pioneer Museum features living history exhibits, photographs, and artifacts from Florence's history, and don't forget to pick up some ground beans from River Roasters for perfect cups of coffee enjoyed out on your deck. Things to Know Two kayaks, lifejackets (two adults, one child), and a five-seat pedal boat are provided. Pets are strictly prohibited due to the homeowner's severe allergies. Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Security camera details: Please note that there is an active security camera on the front door, looking out towards the driveway. Dock details: Private dock off back deck, right on lake for easy access for swimming or kayaking Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Boy were we glad to have that comfy couch during a week of cold and rain. The hot tub was nice too (though only 2/4 jets work) we didn’t really get to use the paddle boat or kayaks due to the rain but nice activity option! The stock of firewood, cooking utensils/pans/spices, towels, soap all exceeded expectations! The only thing I’d say is that the shower located inside the front bedroom is a bit stinky and the kitchen/bathrooms could use a bit of a cosmetic update but functionally were fine. Beds were very comfortable and all the extra linens and blankets stocked were great! I think the value for the rental is spot on and we would definitely stay here again! There were 3 generations enjoying each other & our time together at Lazy House – Grandparents (my husband and myself), son & daughter-in-law, & 3 grandchildren ages 8-16\. We all loved this place! This was the 5th year we have rented a vacation place on the Oregon Coast, & Lazy House is, by far, the best place we have stayed! Everything worked as it should & the place was very clean. . . we know from past experiences that, even when promised, this is not always the case. The house was appointed perfectly, kitchen was equipped with anything you would need to prepare meals & more, a huge closet was labelled “library” & held hundreds of books, two cabinets contained games for all ages, the TV was huge, & the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was enjoyed by all on a daily basis, as were the Lazy House kayaks & pedal boat. The view from the back deck was fantastic, and watching magnificent sunsets became a family event. A family of deer visited the front entrance patch of grass several times during our stay, & always delighted our 8 year-old granddaughter. Location – perfect! Lazy House is a few minutes from Darlings Marina where we had great meals, & just ten minutes to Downtown Florence and Old Florence. All members of our group recommend Lazy House, and we hope to return there next summer. FYI – The bedroom with the bathroom has a dresser with 6 large drawers, but no closet, so pack accordingly or plan to put your clothes in the generous closets in other bedrooms. ##### Fran L. How lovely! The property was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed including games, kitchen gadgets, and lots of spaces that encouraged togetherness. The down sides of this house were the driveway was difficult to find the first time, the water pressure absolutely sucked and the bathroom was dark, small master bathroom, and several things that are provided did not work. For example, the lights above the bed would have been great for reading but they didn’t work. The waffle maker didn’t work, etc. However, we had an issue with the internet and the folks responded in a timely manner (though it was difficult due to lack of reception) and resolved our issue. Overall, a 5/5 stay. Despite some things not being perfect the house goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and serve our needs so the little things ended up not mattering much. ##### Crap S. Good location to access the grocery store and restaurants, but far enough away from town to feel removed. Easy access to lots of outdoor activities. House is definitely older and it shows in spots, but the updates that have been made make it comfortable and it is well stocked. We enjoyed it. ##### jeff p. Very well stocked and comfortable for our family vacation. Beautiful lake views from the home and deck and a large front yard to play. Lake access from the dock has a lot of lake weed and not very appealing for swimming. Overall would recommend this property! ##### Brenda G. House was so fully stocked, we enjoyed staying in and cooking over our meals in Florence. Kayaks and pedal boat were great for getting onto the lake, hot tub with the wind screen awesome for relaxing. Tons of wildlife and great little touches like the tree swing and kids chairs/games. ##### Susan C. The only issue we had was that check out was so early...10 am. We called the night before and asked if we could check out at 11\. They said they would call the next morning to let us know but they never did so we had to rush to leave by 10\. It would be great if check out was at 11 like all the other places we have stayed. Clean, spacious and that lake view is to Live For! The kitchen and house had everything we needed and then some! Comfortable furnishings throughout and thoughtful extras like cozy blankets to keep warm for some wonderful deck time during early spring season, terrific. Our hiking excursion along beautiful Woahink and only a few minutes’ drive to old Town Florence, food and the beach, a bonus! My Gal pals and I enjoyed our experience here immensely. The house is so nice and spacious , it had everything we needed for delicious meals and fun family game and movie nights! The hot tub was great also! The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook. The layout was perfect, the hot tub was wonderful. I really enjoyed the sunsets over the lake and we couldn't really hear any of our neighbors. Lots of things to do near by and everyone we met in Florence was very friendly. This house is set up nicely. Lots of kitchen utensils, games for kids, water toys etc. We were a little bummed the hot tub chemicals were off. It was over chlorinated so much our eyes burned. The grill was also out of propane.
