Bom custo-benefício com ressalvas

Fique 2 dias nesse hotel e fomos transferidos para o outro hotel Accademia, do mesmo dono, onde ficamos mais 2 dias, porque este foi fechado devido aos cancelamentos em função do coronavírus. O atendimento foi muito bom mas o café da manha em ambos estava sendo servido com produtos velhos, principalmente o croissant (mesmo com o hotel quase vazio, acho que os hóspedes remanescentes merecem um pouco de respeito). Os frigo-bares (mini-fridge) não resfriavam adequadamente. Tenho que elogiar a modernização efetuada no hotel Accademia, só pecou em manter um frigo-bar (mini-fridge) que não funcionava direito. Outro ponto problemático para viajantes mais idosos é que ambos os hoteis não possuem elevador e tem que carregar as malas pelas escadas.

Einzigartig war die sehr gute Lage des Hotels. Alles war zu Fuss innerhalb von ca. 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Man konnte auch gut über den Mittag wieder zurück ins Hotel und sich ausruhen und dann wieder neu starten. Das Frühstück war wie in Italien halt so üblich, nichts aussergewöhnliches. Das Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht uns weiterzuhelfen. Für den Ausfall der Heizung am Sonntagmorgen bis Montagmorgen konnte das Personal nichts. Sie standen uns aber mit warmen Decken zur Seite.

Loved it!

This is my absolute favorite hotel I've ever been to. I've now stayed twice at the Hotel dei Macchiaioli and I'll never stay anywhere else in Florence! The service is outstanding, the location is central, breakfast is always great, and the room is excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to be close to the Duomo in Florence.

The best about this hotel is the location. Breakfast pretty basic, no fruits at all. Staff is pretty friendly. Bathroom shower is tiny as most showers in Europe.

A localização do hotel é excelente. Muito próximo do centro histórico e da Duomo di Firenze, de lojas e restaurantes. Infelizmente o quarto não parece em nada com o da foto do site, sendo bem menor. Os funcionários são solicitos e dão boas dicas.

Nota. Me encontre con chinches en la cama al pasar la 1ra noche, muy desagradable experiencia.. sufri picaduras de estos bichos que causaron ronchas en el cuerpo . Al reportarlo inmediatamente nos cambiaron a otra area/habitación mas nueva. Pero es Muy desagradable el inconveniente. No lo recomiendo.

Great location

This hotel has a great location, only minutes walk from the station, Duomo and Acadaemia. Great restaurants nearby. Staff good and room sparking clean. Only negatives were the busy road (our room was at the front and very noisy day & night). The bathroom (across the hall) was so small that you had to sit diagonally on the toilet (we are tall but not overweight) and if you dropped the soap in the shower, you had to open the door of the shower cubicle to be able to bend over and pick it up!

This place was lovely, a true gem. The rooms were spacious and clean and there was art everywhere. The staff are more than curteous and helpful as well as speaking fantastic english - very useful if your Italian is a little lacklustre! The breakfast was brilliant, with the most wonderful art on the ceiling to admire as you enjoyed a morning cappuccino. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Tricky to find, but nice quiet location.

It was hard to find! The actual doors to hotel are down a hallway combined with another hotel and Leonardo DaVinci museum. There is simply a gold plaque on the street with name of hotel on it. There are also 25 steps to front desk - no elevator. The front desk is always manned by a worker. Lorenzo was very helpful with places to eat or exchange $. Very clean and quiet, air-conditioned and basic breakfast - meat, cheese, bread, pastries, hard boiled eggs, the usual. No fresh fruit. The location was great. Short walk to Duomo area and @10-12 min. to train station. Nothing is very far.

The hotel staff are welcoming, pleasant, helpful and fluent in English. The location is ideal— close to the major attractions. Breakfast is held in a large, beautifully appointed, elegant room. US hotels should do half as well with their self-serve breakfast rooms. Excellent in every way.
