The property is very good in terms of location. The staff could be more friendly. The fact that the bags are kept in the main entrance is a slight pull off. Breakfast could be improved massively, the scrambled egg seemed "fake" having to ask a person to serve what could normally be a buffet is ridiculous
Lovely place, right near the big tourist spots and a REALLY great breakfast that was able to accommodate my gluten free needs (unexpected but so nice!).
The staff were great and it’s an excellent location for sightseeing.

It was fine for a short stay. Location was ideal, entrance was hard to find. The property was old and dated but it did make it kind of "old world" Italian. The rooms were a good size and bathrooms spotless. The floors were not cleaned well. Limited amenities and same breakfast every day. I also was bitten by bed bugs on my back and arm.
Good location, very close to the local markets, the hotel too old and outdated, but overall clean, staff friendly, breakfast was fine. The location is the only thing I was looking for in my stay so it met my expectations location wise. If you are looking for comfort and upscale this is not it. Small rooms, bathroom extra small.
It’s not a fancy hotel but it has all the basic things to spend few days in Florence. It is on a convenient street close to the major attractions in the area such as the Michelangelo academia, the beautiful cathedral’s and museums (Leonardo da Vinci, Galileo ) plus a lot of stores for shopping (food and clothing). It is 15 minutes waking distance from the main train station Firenze Santa Maria Novella. It has breakfast included.
The worst Hotel ever. The workers are rude they hate their jobs and they just rude. They overworking I see the same face working every day since early morning until late at night. This Hotel like a prison whenever you come in and out you have to let them know and they will open the door for you. Just stay away from this hotel

Average hotel, run down in areas but great location
Perfect location for an affordable price. The hotel's facilities are a bit old and perhaps not top of the line, but it's appropriate for a cultural stay in Florence. Special mention to the staff, who were very attentive and tried to help us with all our needs.
The floors were dirty, poor and not friendly costumer service, the do not lime to help they just do enough to get they paycheck, the breakfast was very poor also
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff (especially female receptionists) are very very RUDE, COMBATIVE, and AGGRESSIVE. They should have more training on customer services, starting with just a smile. Also, it’s mentioned to accept both cards and cash but they only accept cash for city tax. All they care about is money.

The AC was not working properly and they only provide 1 key to the Room.
Loved our stay. We only needed somewhere comfy and reliable as we only needed the room for one night. Everything was clean and fresh during our stay. Upon arriving, I discovered our room had a beautiful balcony view of the top of the Duomo - something I did not anticipate when I booked! That was a lovely surprise. We were so pleased to also have a full breakfast included with our stay. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay within the heart of Florence :)
The hotel was a great location, walking distance of all the major stuff to do in Florence. The breakfast was very nice and plenty to choose from. The only negative is that we had a leaky toilet which woke us up during the night
It’s not a 4 stars hotel, the only positive is the location as the hotel is steps away from the main cathedral.
They didn’t let us check in as advertised at 2pm but we had to wait until 2.30pm. You can leave your luggage with them Babur they don’t have a storage room and they leave them all around reception. They give you a piece of white tape where you can hand write your name and stick it on your luggage.
The room is average, in the bathroom the painting from the ceiling was peeling and the bathroom tiles were cracked. There was also a constant noise all the way though the night and the fire alarm light flashing.
They advertise a panoramic roof top bar but it’s a small balcony where you seek half of the dome and they have small cans of beers.
Disappointing, it should be advertised as 2 stars.
The best location ever. There was even a parking garage by the hotel. Quite pricy but conviniente ($30 a day)

Location was great and views of the Duomo were excellent. Room size was good and the bathroom was good - although the shower over the bath needed fixing to be able to hold the shower head in place, and the bath seals needed re-doing as they leaked and soaked the floor when showering.
Unfortunately the cleanliness of the breakfast room was a little under par with food / drink stains on the floor and soiled table cloths not changed after previous diners had used them. Also, at times when the breakfast room was busy there only seemed to be one member of staff who was obviously overworked and was not able to keep up with replenishing food and drink reserves.
Location and room were great but I was told breakfast would be included and there was no breakfast

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room had allot of mosquitos inside.
The staff were not professional at all. Not helpful at all.
When i was checking out the two people at the reception were debating with me about the city tax and I was charged allot and when I asked why I’m paying more city tax then other city such as room the gentleman started telling me it’s a 4 star hotel and I told him I was staying in a better 4 star hotel in Rome and the tax was 4 euros. Anyway to cut it short when facing customers you should not tell them information such as the previous hotel might have charged incorrect city tax and telling me how he was a CEO around the world for hotels I’m not interested in competition with someone who works in the reception. I was surprised he was being argumentative and so unprofessional.
The hotel rooms are ok, it’s not worth it for the price and the service. I felt they were avoiding having communication with customers. The only plus about this hotel was the location other then that poor customer service, room full of mosquitoes and not helpful staff.
Good - staff, rooftop bar, the shower, the cleaners.
Bad - The bed, the room, the aircon, the food
Not sure where the 4 stars come from, 3 at a push. The place needs some investment, staff were lovely tho
Numerous flies in room. Beds super uncomfortable. Staff completely unconcerned about resolving problems. They said our booking was non refundable. So we were basically trapped there.
The location was excellent. The property and staff were pleasant and very safety conscious which for a mother travelling with 2 daughters meant for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Admittance to the property was on the second level (1st Floor) and only given when reception sighted the person.
The room took forever to cool down. Beds were rock hard with flat pilllows. Very disappointing stay. Breakfast was sub par. Staff were friendly enough and were able to keep luggage secure after checkout while we explored Florence before our train left. Will not stay again.
