At the second and unique floor, in Via Vinegia n. 2, a small and very quiet road in a pedestrian area, this lovely and particular apartment has been completely restored and decorated with taste and care for any expectations you may have. One the same floor we own and rent another unit, the Simona (ref 11170759) The apartment is at a second floor (first floor in Italy), there is NO LIFT but only 14 steps up from the road. High quality linens and towels, double pillows for each guests, duvets on the beds.. My sister and I take high pleasure to ensure our guests the best staying by taking care of you since your very first enquiry to your departure.. We own and manage personally both apartments so you'll always be checked-in by one of us and we'll be avaialble for you any time for any question, help or need you may have.. Both apartments (the Francesca and the Simona) belong to an ancient bulding dated back to the XV century and share a private entrance from the road, in front of the magnificent stonewall of the medieval S. Remigio Church, in one of the oldest and most famous area of Florence. The apartments can be booked together and can accomodate up to 10 guests. The location is so central that you can easily get back home any time of the day for a quick rest or a bite and go out again to visit this magnificent city. With all kind of shops just around the corner (litterally!!) and Piazza della Signoria at 1 minute walk, these properties are really in the centre of the centre! With some of the best restaurants, ice-cream, fresh pasta, street food an coffee bar just around the corner you'll be able to enjoy your staying with no efforts trying to find out where you can have the best ice-cream of Florence!! The apartment has its own heating and a/c system Beds will be arranged with the best quality linens and duvet. And if you like to try the very best food you have a choice of restaurants and, most of all, you are at 10 min. walking from one of the oldest and most famous market in Florence, The Sant'Ambrogio market where you can buy the most exquisite traditional food.. and as far as ice-cream is concerned, Vivoli (the most famous one) is at 3 min walking Via de Neri, the road at 20 mt from Via Vinegia is full of all kind of shops: groceries, take away, chemistry, fruiters, ice-cream, bakeries, mini market, bars, laundry... Anything you may need is just around the corner! Car: The centre of Florence is closed to car with specific rules. We suggest you NOT TO ARRIVE WITH A CAR if you can. Cuisine bien équipée elle aussi, qui permet de se préparer de vrais repas (le lave-vaisselle est appréciable, et le lave-linge permet d'envisager de longs séjours). Lits assez confortables. L'emplacement de l'appartement est un atout important : à deux pas du palazzo Vecchio, des Offices, de Santa Croce... tout en étant dans une rue un peu retirée, à l'écart des foules, ce qui garantit un calme relatif. Our flight was delayed and contact with the owners was very easy and they were able to accommodate us arriving later than planned. It is within walking distance to everything. Great communication with the owner. The place is spotless and we used all the amenities. Washer, dish washer, kitchen. ##### George a. The apartment is in a perfect part of town - very close to everything. Short walk to the Duomo, to the museums, to Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce. Restaurants everywhere nearby. Small apartment with two bedrooms - great for us as we were traveling with our two teenagers. AC works. Small kitchen - if you were cooking it would work just fine. WiFi worked well I did a couple of work calls from the apartment. Simona and her sister were easy to deal with. Area felt safe. They do have washing machine so we got some laundry done. Overall we would absolutely stay here again. ##### Bryan W. It is very well appointed and extremely comfortable (great beds!). It balances charm with modern conveniences. Sitting on a side street, it is surprisingly quiet even though it is so centrally located. The host, Simona, is absolutely wonderful and goes out of her way to welcome and support guests during their visit. If you want to stay in the heart of the city, this is your place! ##### Cynthia B. Simona was very welcoming and helpful upon arrival. And she stayed in touch to make sure everything was going well. The apartment is fantastic. Great location, very clean and spacious and steps from the Piazza della Signoria. It's also on a side street so very quiet. We had a double bed in one room and the kids were in 3 x singles in the other room with their own ensuite. Separate lounge area was perfect to chill out in. Checkin was simple and owner was easy to communicate with and highly responsive. Highly recommend as also great location. ##### Angela L.
